Perfect Lake Travis getaway

Overall this property was wonderful for a getaway to Lake Travis. It was tidy and had a lot of great amenities but the best part is the proximity to the lake, especially for the price! Would definitely stay here again!

The best place in texas

This home was immaculate and perfect for a weekend getaway to the lake. Absolutely perfect location which made access to the Lake a breeze. Far enough out of the city for relaxation but also just a short drive in for some city life. My friends and I could not recommend this place enough.

Awesome House

This was a great house to stay at! Kitchen size is perfect for cooking, living room had a ton of space and the bedrooms worked out great for 12 people! Having the pool was a must and we loved it. House is close enough to enjoy Downtown Austin and Lake Travis! Would highly recommend!

Girls Getaway!

Wonderful house to host 12 adult ladies for an extended weekend. The house and all the amenities were great, pool was great and AC was cool! The deck could use some TLC but otherwise, the house was fantastic!

Good for multiple families

Great layout for multiple families staying together. We had 3 separate families all with 2 kids 3 and under. It worked out well for us. We made good use of the pool and the large fridge was great to have with a large group. Overall enjoyed our time here a lot.

Great Spot for a weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this Lake House. The home was modern and tastefully decorated. Beds were all comfortable, even the bunk beds. House was clean, kitchen was well-stocked, and the backyard was definitely the highlight of our stay. We spent each day in the pool, which was amazing and grilled out each night - house had two grills, Propane and charcoal, which was nice. We definitely recommend!

We had to hand wash dishes the entire time because the dishwasher didn’t work. Also the washing machine broke mis stay so we could not wash towels.

We’re very sorry both the dishwasher and washing machine gave you trouble during your stay. It’s quite unusual for two appliances to have issues at the same time, but unfortunately, sometimes these things happen. Both have since been repaired, and future guests will have full use of them. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to host you again under smoother circumstances.

HOT

Everything about the property is very nice. There are not enough trash cans for check out. One AC unit was broke and unable to be fixed. The entire stay was very hot and we were unable to use living room, and master suite because of the heat. Very unfortunate situation and only received half of our money back.

Hi Brent, Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. There are two large trash cans outside, which has never presented an issue. We did offer to allow your group to leave with a refund when one of the two AC units stopped working, however you declined, so we offered a 50% refund and also delivered a portable AC unit to keep the 1 bedroom cool which was impacted by the AC issue. Aside from the unfortunate AC issue, it sounds as if your group enjoyed the home / time at the lake so we are glad that you enjoyed your time at Lake Travis Getaway.

Bachelorette Weekend

The house was super cute and perfect for my bachelorette weekend, but it had a lot of issues that caused many inconveniences. The wine/beverage fridge wouldn't cool (we finally got this issue resolved on the third day of our stay after talking with the host and them explaining where the circuit breaker was). Also, the dishwasher was broken so we had to wash all of our dishes by hand for the weekend (with the exception of the day we checked out when they told us we could leave dishes in the sink) - major inconvenience and time suck! Finally, the toilet in the master bathroom would run for several hours after it was flushed rendering the toilet useless. We had to walk all the way to the other side of the house to use the powder bath. Also - the host mentioned this in advance but the gas grill wasn't working. The house costed a lot of money for it to have all of these issues.

We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. A circuit breaker tripped causing the beverage refrigerator and dishwasher not to work. We worked through this issue within hours of the guest, resolving it quickly. We also provide a full size refrigerator which was not affected when the breaker tripped. The guest indicated that the "toilet refilled slowly" which was reported on the last day of her stay which did not seem to require an emergency plumber visit. The toilet has been fixed and no longer has any issues.

Came here with a lot of family (11 of us total) and we absolutely enjoyed it. Layout is perfect. All the rooms are a great size. Kitchen is perfectly stocked for cooking, better than most rentals I've stayed at. We hope to be back in warmer weather to really enjoy the pool.

highly recommended

This is a beautiful designer-decorated home with many high-end touches. It definitely feels a luxury private home (NOT a cheaply furnished rental.). The layout is perfect with 2 very large masters and en-suite bathrooms for every bedroom. The u-shaped floor plan was perfect for us—our son’s family stayed in one wing and we stayed in the other so we had plenty of quiet and privacy. The furniture is comfortable and beautiful. The refrigerator and freezer is HUGE which it great for family get togethers. Staying there was so much fun that next time we’ll eat in every meal and not waste time going out. The entire interior of the house is beautifully updated and immaculate (I don’t throw that word around lightly—seriously, this house is VERY clean) The pool is also beautiful and pristine. The high-end and abundant outdoor furniture made it tempting to spend all our time outside. There is abundant shade and pretty views of Live Oaks and part of the cove. Although you can’t dock from their private ramp due to lower lake levels, you can tie a boat up to the private dock and walk up to the house. Our kids had so much fun in the pool and the hot tub and playing ball in the fenced yard that it was very relaxing for the adults. The fire pit made making s’mores a favorite for everyone. The host was very responsive. It is clear that they are committed to make your stay a positive experience. We have stayed in many VRBO properties in the US and this is definitely one of our favorites. We can’t wait to book our next stay at this awesome vacation home.
