McIntyre House - Effortless Beachside Accommodation on Hooper Beach

Our four bedroom house has been updated with modern conveniences needed for a coastal getaway. It is a private self-contained home for a seaside escape; or centrally located base from which to enjoy all that the stunning region has to offer.

A sweeping deck and spacious lounge with gas fireplace looking out onto the ocean and bedrooms offering warm spaces from which to enjoy sea or garden views. The house is 100m from Hooper Beach.

The upper level has three bedrooms featuring premium Sheridan & Bed Threads linen, Waverley Mills blankets, feather down duvets and plush pillows. The lower level, accessed externally through the back garden is a studio space sleeping up to four people, with its own bathroom and kitchenette.

The bathrooms are stocked with premium bath towels and luxury Grampians Goods Co amenities for your enjoyment. There is a bath for relaxing soaks. A separate laundry fulfils all washing and ironing needs. A hairdryer is provided for guest convenience.

Comfortable, fantastic location

The house had everything we needed for a short stay - the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, good sized living spaces and practically on the beach. We will be booking to stay at this house again!

Perfect relaxed stay

Awesome homely stay only 60 metres from Hooper Beach. Views of the beach but also sheltered from the wind. Comfortable property, ideally located nearby to Main Street.

Vacation

We had a wonderful stay with family at this Hooper Beach property. The layout of the home was perfect for the 2 families with the teenage kids loving the downstairs room! Brilliant deck area too for that afternoon wine. The owner was fantastic to deal with and we will most certainly stay again.

Large house with all we needed

We were three couples and the four bedrooms and three bathrooms made for a very easy stay. The house is well equipped and in a nice location close to everything we wanted to attend. A good spot for game of Kubb across the road! Everything worked!

Not new and flashy but very suitable and well equipped for 5 guys on a golf weekend. Walking distance to Main Street. Owners great to deal with. Enjoyed the outside patio with a view to the bay. Would book again.

Perfect Location

Fantastic deck with views of the aqua waters of Robe and ideal location inbetween town and Long Beach, great walking paths and beach access. The home is old and needs some repairs but it was presented nicely. Basic necessities were there.

Perfect house, perfect location

We had a fantastic time visiting Robe and all the beauty it has to offer. The house was clean and supplied everything we needed, the gas fireplace kept us warm in the evenings. It was the perfectly located to enjoy the nearby beach for watching the sunset and also the sunrise! We had 2 families for a weekend away and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you! We will definitely be coming back!

Great location in a beautiful setting. Good value for the price. Downstairs studio bit disconnected from the main house. Could do with a heater in the bedroom. Otherwise very comfortable.

Autumn stay in Robe

Initial impressions on entering the property are excellent with comfortable seating in the family area and dining furniture for up to 8 people. The weather was cold, but the heating was excellent, keeping us warm. The kitchen is well stocked with nice crockery, cutlery, saucepans and cooking accessories. Pleasant clean bedrooms with comfortable beds. Can see it would be a fabulous warm weather place with outdoor dining and sea views. The bathrooms let the place down a little, but this can be improved with more attention to general cleaning and maintenance as fixtures are fine.

Adequate, but needs some work

The location is good. It was adequate for our needs, but some doors need repair or replacing, blinds needed in lounge - difficult to watch TV in afternoon - very glarey. Drapes in master bedroom hanging off a bit - hooks broken. Furniture in bedroom too old, not cute, just too old. In need of new SSsink. Adequste, but not great.

Short stay in Robe with friends

While this property is in a great location ,the place itself is in need of a good clean. Bathrooms had mold in them, windows were filthy .The sheets on the bed were not fresh and had other peoples hair on them. Addressed this with the owner ,was told cleaner would come and change the linen. They never showed . We ended up washing the sheets ourselves, one mattress protector had a big urine stain on it. Crisper in fridge was in need of a good clean. The outdoor umbrella was broken. There are no blinds on two sliding doors ,so the sun streams in ,in the afternoon. The experience was very disappointing ,considering the reviews were glowing. The up side ,nice and close to everything.

Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic!

Our time at this house was wonderful and I could not recommend it more if you plan to be staying in Robe. Finding the house and checking-in was effortless and it felt as though Lizzie was there with us each step of the way foreseeing and tending to our every need - she even asked what type of milk we would like so that our coffees/teas were seen to upon arrival. The house is in a brilliant position - on the forefront of the coastline, away from the busy main road and on a one way street which meant it was quiet and calm and perfectly nestled half way between the main drag with accompanying shops (8min walk) and the beautiful Long Beach (12 min walk). Inside the decor is calming, especially the vast cinematic window in the living room which looks over the bay - a perfect place to sit and think. Our bed was uber comfortable and I particularly loved the shower in the ensuite which felt like a deluge of water pouring over me. If I had to knock one thing, it would be that the internet modem is right next to the main bed and has blinking lights that flicker in the dark, but we circumvented that easily with a towel thrown over it. Overall, staying here was fantastic and I will absolutely be going back! Thank you Tom and Lizzie!

Wonderful location. Super cosy house.

Enjoyed a peaceful stay in this cosy house in Robe. Location is great, close to town and just a walk across the road to the beach. The gas fireplace was enjoyed on cold evenings and the deck on sunny afternoons. The view of the ocean from multiple rooms was fantastic. Comfortable beds and quality linen supplied. Communication with the owner was great too. We would stay again.
