Bring the boat and enjoy our two bedroom log cabin overlooking beautiful Douglas Lake in the Flat Community. Gorgeous sunsets from the deck. Access to the lake. Plenty of parking for two cars as well as your boat and trailer. Douglas lake is full through about mid August as shown in the pics. Did you know that the month of March is one of the best for Croppie fishing?

Two bedroom log cabin with 2 1/2 baths. One king bed. One queen bed. And a sofa sleeper to accommodate up to six people.

The property sits directly on Douglas Lake, and the backyard has a gentle slope leading right down to the water. There’s also a private dock available for tying up a boat or simply enjoying the lake. Guests can walk straight into the water from the shoreline or get in by stepping or jumping from the dock — whichever they prefer. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and hope you enjoyed your visit to the area.

Very clean house. Host is very accommodating. Water level was down quite a bit but they still made sure I was able to get my boat in the water.

Very cozy and clean cabin. Great location, very quiet and relaxing. Lake view is beautiful! The best part of the trip was the great host. Very friendly and helpful with any needs. Need more people like this in the world!

We had an amazing time! Debbie was always available for questions or if we needed anything. We would definitely come back again! Its very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was great! Overall a great trip for my husband and I.

We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset view from the hot tub as well as the peaceful quiet neighborhood. Was just what we were looking for. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Host friendly. Would stay again.

We had a great time staying at the cabin. I love the peace and quiet of the cabin and the views at sunset were great. The owner was so accommodating and helpful. The owner defiantly went above and beyond for us.

Wonderful property and location

We had a great time at this property. The owners were very helpful in getting our boat in the lake since the water level was still very low. The hot tub was wonderful each evening as we watched the sunset.

Loved our stay

We loved our stay. The only downfall is the distance from the boat dock to the cabin, and it's on a hillside. Otherwise the cabin is very cozy and comfortable and the hosts were very friendly. We loved Douglas Lake, and we will be back.

Half-Way Stay

This was out where we stayed for our half way point to Florida and it was great! A little away from town due to being in the mountains, but it was beautiful! Would definitely stay here again! We were even able to meet the owners at one point and they are super nice!
