Friendly and knowledgeable host. Excellent location between Duluth & Two Harbors. Having direct access to the lake is wonderful and seeing wildlife in the yard was so fun. Very comfortable & easy place to stay.

Our stay at the property was everything we hope for. Secluded with a great view of Lake Superior. The host was very accommodating to all our questions and requests. Would not hesitate to return for a future stay.

We loved our trip! The house was perfect (2 adults and 2 small kids). Lots of room to run and play in the backyard, and the steps down to the beach made for lots of fun adventures! Highly recommend!

Great view and extremely clean and organized house. Joe was available if we had any issues which we did not. Enjoyed the deer coming in for snacks and loved the swing overlooking the lake. Close to Duluth and 2 Harbors but far away enough to feel remote.

This property was everything we were looking for and more! Perfect location. It is nice and close to hiking, Gooseberry Falls, and more! Beautiful, quiet, peaceful place with AMAZING views! The host (Joe) lives on-site, but he was very respectful of our privacy. He does an outstanding job of keeping the property looking great and welcomes the wildlife which I loved. We saw deer, bunnies, eagles, butterflies, hawks, and an assortment of other birds. We will for sure be back again.

What a homey place!!! We felt so comfortable and relaxed! Joe recommended a couple eatingplaces with live musicfor us and they were awesome!!! We will definitely stay there again.

Cozy with a view

Our stay at Stony Bay Lodge was enjoyable. The host was friendly and helpful, the lodging was clean and comfortable, and the view was peaceful.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and watching the ships and eagles. We found the place clean and had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. The location was great. I would recommend it to friends and would stay again.

Cozy cabin in a great location!

My family loved our stay here! The place was a perfect size for the 4 of us, the view was spectacular (especially at sunrise), cozy atmosphere, and it is in a great location. You are able to get into Duluth or Two Harbors in 15/20 minutes. We would love to stay here again.

North Shore Visit

My wife & I thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and well kept, had a nice view of Lake Superior and steps down to the beach. Was 15 min to Duluth or 10 min to Two Harbors, so convenient access to activities, yet a quiet setting with daily visits from deer, rabbit & humming birds. Definitely would stay there again.
