Never Monday Villa es una casa luminosa y bien iluminada ubicada en la prestigiosa subdivisión Corolla Light en los Northern Outer Banks de Carolina del Norte. Este lugar de vacaciones recientemente renovado está idealmente ubicado a solo unos pasos del sonido Currituck a través de un sendero desde el patio trasero. El kayak al atardecer y la observación de aves están justo afuera de la puerta trasera. El océano está a un tercio de milla de distancia y es fácilmente accesible por nuestra bicicleta / sendero para caminar que pasa por nuestra puerta principal. Además, el tranvía Corolla Light recoge justo al otro lado de la calle para aquellos que prefieren un paseo a las amplias playas de arena en lugar de estacionarse. Muy acogedor, interior temático de playa con amplias terrazas alrededor de la casa, incluyendo terrazas privadas de los tres dormitorios principales. Casa completamente surtida con ropa de cama incluida. ¡Todo lo que necesita traer es la actitud de fin de semana para completar el ambiente en Never Monday Villa!

Great family vacation

The property was perfectly suited for my family with 6 adults and 6 children. Check in was easy. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything we needed was there. Details to what we needed to bring was accurate. My fault for always over packing. Gina is terrific. Any questions? Quick response. This is my third stay at this property. Again another great family vacation

Nice Stay in Corolla Resort!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Cozy home. We enjoyed the trolley and the swimming pools in the resort. It was also nice to have lunch at the club restaurant.

OBX Family Trip

Never Monday is located a short walk (less than 1 minute) from the sound - a perfect spot to watch the sunset. It is also a fairly short walk to the beach (Atlantic side of the island) where we watched the sunrise one morning.When I booked this property, I did not realize it was part of a resort. We took advantage of the trolley and some of us enjoyed the resort pools.The house itself has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Three of the bedrooms have baths off them. There is one common full bath on the bedroom floor and one common half bath off the kitchen. Additionally, there is a toilet and shower on the ground level (in addition to the 4.5 bathrooms).One bedroom is on the top floor with the kitchen and common areas. The other bedrooms are on the "main" (second floor) with easy access to the hot tub on the back porch.The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all our messages.The stairs leading up from the parking area (which accommodated our 4 vehicles) are wide and made carrying luggage up/down the stairs easy.If I were to have a family reunion in the OBX again, I would consider using this property once more.

Great stay in Corolla!

We had a great stay at Never Monday. It's exactly as it's presented on line (exception: if the write up still says bikes are available, they are no longer available). The house was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The walk to the beach is not bad at all and the Ocean pool is awesome and even on full days did not feel full. As mentioned, it's pretty accurate on line. If you like things to be totally renovated and current, the bathrooms are a bit outdated (everything still functions). There were a few cockroaches around but i think that comes with all the beach houses. All in all I would definitely stay here again!!

Family Vacation

We had an extended family vacation and this stay suited everyone’s needs. The trolly that is part of the Corolla light resort made it very easy for everyone in our party to get around and see the sights. The smaller community gave off a relaxing vibe. From the sound side pool for the little tots to pickelball, Oceanside pool connects to the beach access and beach chair and umbrella rentals to extend your relaxation. The poolside drink service at the oceanside pool made things very relaxing. At the house the showers were hot, the twin room beds were a little firm for my comfort level but the other room beds were comfortable per my party. Bar fridge was a nice touch for drinks. TVs in all the rooms although we didn’t use them in the bedrooms. There is a gas grill no charcoal grill. No bikes on site. No air fryer on site. You will need to bring staples, salt, pepper, oil, sponges, hand towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, paper towels and extra toilet paper. Owner responded quickly to inquiries and we really enjoyed our stay. Must go look at the whalehead club, lighthouse and eat breakfast at Northern lights bakery. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay

Beautiful sunsets being close to the sound. Really enjoyed having the kayaks to paddle in the sound. Fairly close to beach but also a parking area near the beach if you don't want to walk. Overall a great place to stay!!

Loved our stay

We absolutely loved our stay in Corolla at Gina's house. There was plenty of room for our family to enjoy and build memories. Corolla light is a fantastic community and we plan to come back next year.

Obx vacay

House was perfect for our family. This was the 2nd time in 2 yrs. Love it. Gina is fantastic if you need her she will get right back to you. The disappointment was housekeeping did not come until 5. We waited as we did not want to travel anymore with stuff in our car. Just ready to wash up after a long trip. They rushed as we were waiting so the house wasn’t as clean as should have been. No fault to Gina and the property. The trolley service ended 2 days after we got there which was also disappointing again no fault to Gina and the property, cannot help it if there were no workers. We enjoyed our family and had a great time which is what it’s all about.

Not our best

House was nice and comfortable. Nice walks along the sound, and ocean access was easy. Problem with AC was promptly addressed. The floors were swept but needed to be mopped, and i was surprised to find the dishwasher full when i went to load it the firstnight.

Relaxing Vacation!

The check-in process was very easy. Gina was attentive to all my questions. The house was exactly as described. The inside of the house was pretty clean and had everything you could think of from pans, extra blankets, dog/baby gates, beach chairs, and more. The location was very relaxing and quiet. We loved the community pool and the fact that the beach was right there by the pool. The shuttle from the house to the pool was super convenient. There was never any parking at the pool, so take advantage of the shuttle. In general, it was the perfect house for my family. My kids loved that there were so many bathrooms. The hot tub is definitely a plus. Some things to mention: The stairs (2 sets) in the house were steep. My mom is older, and I have knee issues, so the stairs were a little challenging. If you are not a "nature" person Corrolla is not for you. Because it is next to the bay, the air had that bay smell. The outside of the house was covered in spider webs. We had to clean the hot tub area before going in, but if you are okay with bugs then you will be fine. We didn't find any bugs or spiders in the house. The dog area is all sand. My dog won't do her business in the sand, so maybe bring a long lease. To get to the beach from the pool, there are only stairs. We made the mistake of bringing a lot of stuff.

Has it All

The house was extremely comfortable. With the best equipped kitchen we have had in our 15 years coming to OBX. Hot tub was a great evening activity, along with all the amenities that Corolla Light has to offer it made our stay so enjoyable. Bikes available for our use was nice as well as the kayaks. Enjoyed a bay sunset from out on the water for memories that will never be forgotten. Definitely would look to stay here in the future.

Great house, great views, great location!

The house was exactly as the listing stated. Great location as the trolley stop was right across from the house and beautiful views of the sound. Very clean when we got there. Plenty of extras in the kitchen and having the beach chairs and kayaks was a nice touch. Other than a few minor issues we all had a fabulous time and would rent this property again in the future.

Family wedding

This house worked out perfectly for our extended family. We were all here for a family wedding and were completely comfortable. The steps were a little difficult for some of our family members.

Family vaca 2023

OBX did not disappoint! We have a large family with children of all ages. This home was absolutely perfect for us. The kids loved the hot tub in the evenings after a day at the beach. The tub in the master bath was personally my favorite. The large dining room table was perfect for meals as well as the back deck with a large grill and sitting area. Our family loved the over sized chair in the living room so much that we are currently shopping for one. Thank you so much for a comfortable, clean and memorable experience.

My sons and I have been coming to the Outer Banks for many cherished years now with the notion that ONE day, we would buy a place here. It holds a very special corner in all our hearts with years of memories. On our first trip down, I met an old fisherman whom I struck up a conversation with as he fiddled with his rod, and told him how much I loved the OBX and would work to someday buy some land or a home here. He belly laughed saying, "I have been coming here to rent for thirty years now but would never buy here." I asked why since he apparently loved it as well. "This ain't land it's sand!!" I suppose he was right. Life on a Sandbar as the bumper sticker reads. But I will take it!

We bought in the Corolla Light Resort as it is where we chose to rent for many years, both ocean and soundside. We decided on this property due to its proximity to the water from our back yard as we are avid kayakers. I also love being able to take morning and evening walks along the Sound and through the tree covered trails that surround our place. The house was in need of updating but the floor plan and enormous decks surrounding the house gave us the initiative to get working on it and it has turned into our dream home.
