Quiet Studio Hideaway 5 minutes Walk to Cable Beach

Cable Beach Hideaway is nestled in to the most idyllic Broome location, just a 5 minute walk to the famous Cable Beach. Positioned at the end of a quiet, safe cul-de-sac on the edge of a park, this well-appointed and stylishly furnished studio is spacious, light and airy.

The kitchen is fully self-contained with a fridge/freezer, oven, electric cook-top and dining area. The large bedroom/living area features a luscious king-size bed, quality linen, smart TV, air-conditioning and two ceiling fans. Just off the living room is a neat bathroom. Local artwork brings elements of the Kimberley into the space and an outdoor terrace with table and chairs overlooks the local park, enabling you to enjoy the balmy Broome climate. You can also relax indoors and enjoy the ocean breezes through a secure fly screen door.

A short walk through the local park takes you to the tourist precinct of Cable Beach where you will find: the spectacular Cable Beach where you can hire beach umbrellas, deck chairs and other beach equipment; Cable Beach Club Resort with its quality restaurants and iconic Sunset Bar (a must-visit venue to watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean); the Broome Surf Club Bar for well-priced sunset drinks (Wed-Sun) and the best ocean views in Broome; The Zookeepers Store (restaurant/café); Cable Beach House restaurant, which overlooks Cable Beach; Broome’s famous camel rides; Blue Body Buddha Sanctuary for fabulous yoga classes; Divers Tavern (bistro, sports bar, beach bar and bottle shop); Cable Beach General Store – stocks all essentials.

The local bus stop is only a 3 minute walk away. The Broome Town Bus service takes you into the heart of Chinatown and to Town Beach – two more great areas of Broome to explore. If you have a car, Chinatown is only a 7 minute drive. Nothing is far away in Broome! We have mountain bikes available for hire. Let us know when you arrive if you are interested in bikes for your stay - a great way to get around.

This gorgeous little unit was perfect for exploring cable beach. It was walking distance from the beach and surf club. The sunset was amazing!!The unit was comfortable, had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy! Despite the unit being in close proximity to the owners home, we had so much privacy. We rented a car to access nearby broome town center. It was perfect for our 5 day stay. Would return!

Host made communication very difficult. Insisted we were sent information re access that we didn't receive. Property has toilet effluent on bathroom floor when washing machine back flowed via the toilet.Location was good. Laundry was a washing machine outside in a yard and clothes came out covered in dog hair. Cups were stained and chipped. Noisy fridge. Overall a disappointing expensive.

Broome rest and relaxation

The property was good and the location would have been perfect if it wasn't for the neighbours dog barking for hours on end everyday. Last night it was barking after midnight. The concept of a restful relaxing stay after a hectic 3 weeks on the Gibb was lost due to the dog yapping constantly. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect. I would suggest the host talk to the neighbours at number 4 or talk to the council, as this would surely impact people returning to stay and or reviews. It would be unfair of me to rate the property just due to the dog barking but it did have a big impact on our stay. I have rated the accommodation as if the dog hadn't been there causing the intrusive disturbance.

Amazing location just 400m walk to Cable Beach in a quiet court off the main road. Hideaway Studio provided all the essentials and comfort for us to rest each night after sightseeing and exploring all day every day. Perfect location and highly recommended.

A week in Broome

Amazing quiet space for a couple. Well equipped kitchen. Outside area small but adequate . Footpath from carport to studio precarious with uneven brickwork. Close to beach restaurants etc.

The property is lovely but poor communication from the manager meant I didn't receive instructions on how to access the property until the day before & after I requested them twice. Also paving out the front is a trip hazard & access with luggage isn't ideal. But unit itself was good & they supplied some basics tea,cofee, dishwashing supplies etc which was great.

This little place is perfect for a person who has no transportation. The bus line is close and the ocean is a 3 minute walk to the beach!

Great place to stay in Broome

Everything was as advertised.. It is in a suburbia with no view but it is only a very short walk to Cable Beach…. the most beautiful beach! Loved going to the beach for a walk then hiring an umbrella and sun chairs to while away the time with a good book and an occasional cool off in the ocean. Go at high tide as a shorter walk to the ocean! There is a general store and grog shop for supplies within a short walk. Access to the pool on the property would have been the icing on the cake. The a/c worked well as it was in the high 30’s every day and some days 40’s! We would certainly recommend staying here and would have no hesitation about coming back although I am partial to a pool!
