We were genuinely surprised to learn that you felt unsafe during your stay. We want to emphasize that, to date, we have never had any reports from guests who felt unsafe at our property. The safety and well-being of our guests are paramount, and we have taken all necessary precautions to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment. We understand that your experience is a personal feeling, and we sincerely apologize if you did not feel comfortable during your stay. When you initially brought your concerns to our attention, we were fully committed to addressing them promptly and ensuring your comfort. We offered various solutions, including full credit or a 2-night refund, to make amends for any inconvenience. However, we respect your decision to decline these offers. It's important to note that you left the property without presenting any significant objective reasons for your departure. In such cases, we are not obligated to grant compensation, especially when we made earnest efforts to improve your impression of the place. We would like to point out that this is the first instance in many years of renting our villa where a guest has expressed feeling unsafe and left after just 24 hours. We remain confident that future reviews from other guests will continue to validate the exceptional quality and safety standards we maintain. This review is not appropriate and shouldn't be posted as the guest made the choice to stay in a private villa whereas she should have booked a Resort with her eleven years old kids, and this wrong property choice created this wrong scenario, and, we, as hosts cannot be taken responsible for this.

Good day Sam, We thank you for your comments. I will just qualify the negative points you highlighted. 1) The exterior is in relatively good shape, there is an outdoor table with 4 chairs on the sunset terrace and a table with 6 chairs on the poolside. The pool is new and in good function. It was cleaned just before you arrived and due to the Christmas weekend wasn't clean before you go. . It was a windy week so you had a little dust on the bottom but nothing serious not to enjoy it. The 2 loungers are in good shape and appreciable. 2) There is an 8 gallons tank that allows you a 5 minutes hot water shower, after 10 to 15 minutes you can use it again. After the water is at the coldest 80F on the island which is allowing you to shower. 3) This is the first time we have had a complaint regarding the noise of the airplane, moreover it was the busiest week of the year and maybe you suffer from the jets take off but now there are all gone now :) 4) The Kitchen is well equipped. We added today big plates bowls for the breafast and a pair of cisors. We are sorry if you had a few minor issues at the Villa as the Last 2 reviews were 5 stars. Cliff House is a nice little 2BR Villa with an amazing Ocean view and well located.
