A rare find and ideal location on Vancouver Island: 35 minutes to Victoria, 15 minutes to Duncan, 60 min to Nanaimo 90 min to Parksville & Qualicum. Day trip to the many gem spots on the island for a true West Coast experience. Or stay put to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wild life on and around the beautiful property. Just steps to Shawnigan Lake Private School and only a 10 minute drive to Brentwood College in Mill Bay. Wonderful House and Property

Our group of 4 adults totally enjoyed our stay here. The dock was a beautiful place to relax after a day on the road. The house is comfortable and well appointed - the kitchen had everything we needed. The fireplace kept the area cozy on chilly nights. We also enjoyed sitting in front of the “glass wall” with coffee or cocktails and taking in the view of the lake. We watched a local rowing team practice on that lake almost every day. We definitely recommend this house and would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Luxurious stay in beautiful surroundings. Host leaves all supplies needed including spices, kitchenware, beach towels, outdoor blankets, paper goods, cleaning supplies, games. Would stay again for sure.

Beautiful home and lake front property

We loved everything about this vacation home. The house is newly renovated and felt very welcoming and cozy. Everything we needed was provided and everything was very clean. Our most favorite part was the lake view from the house and the beautiful garden. Our kids enjoyed the open space for playing. The house comes with a boathouse and a large dock. We spend many l hours fishing. Hopefully we can come back one day.

The large property is home to several varieties of trees and receives visits from local wildlife. Just steps to Shawnigan Lake Private School and only a 10 minute drive to Brentwood College in Mill Bay.
Walking distance to the village, home of Shawnigan House Coffee and Oma's Bakery - both are so good you'll want to visit them daily! It's the perfect combination of privacy, natural beauty and proximity to amenities.
