A cozy house located 2.5 km from the beach, in the Atlantic Forest on a large lot shared with another house. A beautiful, simple, and peaceful setting. Ideal for couples, groups of friends, and families. Well-equipped with kitchenware, a dining area with a barbecue grill, a pizza oven, and a commercial-grade stove. The house features two spacious en-suite bedrooms with high ceilings, and one outdoor suite built beneath the canopy of a Samaúma tree. Living room with a fireplace, half-bath, 40" TV, and game table. Wi-Fi, large balcony with a beautiful view; deck, plants, and natural woodland at the back of the house.
Each indoor suite features a double bed and a pull-out bed. The outdoor suite features a double bed and, if needed, also has a single bed (the lower fold-out bed).
Parking for 6 to 8 cars. We usually share the parking space with one car from the other house. Enclosed property with gates and a fence.
The Space
The house is located on a 1,000-square-meter lot, shared with another house that belongs to my brother and can also be rented together; however, both houses are independent, fully equipped, and offer a comfortable stay. In front of his house (a beautiful chalet), there is a large gate with access for two cars, but I usually ask my guests to use the property for parking. They can use the parking area at the house in case of very heavy rain, or even to unload their car.
Guest Access
Guests will have access to the house and the entire surrounding property, except for the grounds of the house next door.
Other notes:
During extended holiday periods, such as Carnival and Corpus Christi, reservations for fewer than 3 nights will not be accepted.
Pets:
Pets are welcome, but guests must exercise care, discretion, and respect to ensure a safe stay and harmonious coexistence. The property is shared, and both houses allow pets. Up to 2 small pets or 1 medium-sized pet are allowed per rental, provided they are calm and friendly.
It is important that the number of guests staying in the house matches the information in the reservation description. If this information or any other details change, the host must be notified.
Very close to the house, right in Sertão itself, there is a beautiful waterfall, which I usually provide details about after the reservation is confirmed. (A 5-minute drive from the house and 40 minutes to reach the last of the three waterfalls.)
There is a wide variety of beautiful beaches in the region that you can visit during your stay, both heading south—such as Barra do Sahy, Juqueí, and Barra do Una—and to the nearest beaches: Camburizinho, Camburí, and Baleia; and heading north: Maresias, Calhetas, Toque Toque Pequeno, Toque Toque Grande, Santiago, Paúba, and others.
You’ll feel like you’re in the countryside and at the beach at the same time!
