Ever feel the call to escape and relax away from it all? Our family welcomes you to stay in our
home and detox from city life in the peaceful pines surrounded by the Ouachita National
Forest. Located in Hochatown, this newly constructed, luxury, modern cabin was completed in
July 2020 and has room for your entire family.

Call of the Wild is nestled in the highly sought-after Pine Hill Northwest Development. It is
professionally decorated, boasts 5 bedrooms (including bunkroom) and sleeps 18. Arranged all
on one floor, the main portion of the cabin contains 4 King bedrooms, each with an en-suite
bathroom and wall-mounted Roku internet TV. All are large enough to accommodate the
included pack-n-play. One bedroom also contains a twin day bed for those little ones that need to sleep close.

The fully stocked game room is separated from the main cabin by a stunning patio with vaulted ceilings. The game room includes an Olhausen pool table, shuffle board and flattop arcade with over 400 classic games to keep both adults and kids entertained. It also has 9 built-in twin bunks and a full bathroom to sleep all the kids comfortably.
The patio is where to enjoy the open air and it has room for all. Enjoy cookouts on a Weber gas grill with outdoor patio dining for 10. Relax in the large Nordic Hot Tub or in front of the stone gas fireplace. Both have views of the 65” Samsung 4K TV with DirecTV to the watch the game.

Dance to music on Sonos speakers located inside and out.
Roast the perfect s’more over the wood burning firepit under the tall pines. With string lights
surrounding the cabin, fun can be had playing cornhole or ladder toss until it is time to go to
bed. The kids will also enjoy the CedarWorks playset for hours.

Nothing says modern more than bringing your charging cable and saving on gas. The cabin is
equipped with a 220v outlet located in front for your electric vehicle.

Only minutes away from Beaver’s Bend State Park and the Mountain Fork River, the area offers
plenty of opportunity to explore. Enjoy nearby activities including hiking, fly fishing, canoeing,
kayaking, horseback riding and golf. Rent a boat, or bring your own, and enjoy the clear water
of Broken Bow Lake.

This is Cindy Waddell and we stayed at The Call of the Wild. Just wanted you to know we loved the stay and also I accidentally broke one of the wine glasses. Also, the fireplaces didn’t work very well but maintenance came and helped on the first night. We noticed the door handle on the shower in the bunk room was broken and the handle on the game cabinet was also missing a screw.Please let me know what I owe for the wine glass and where to send it.Thank you for providing this beautiful home.God Bless!

Property was nice. There were a couple issues, broken doorknob and broken toilet paper holder. Other than that we loved this place! Very nice outdoor area, bunk room was a big hit with my young adult children. The property is at the end of a cul-de-sac type road, so it was very private and secluded feeling.

Enjoyed our stay. The only issue i had was the grill or oven was not clean and the refrigerator would not stay cold the freezer side worked good

Great Cabin, But Beware

The cabin was lovely and well-maintained, and we appreciated the tranquil environment. However, I believe it is necessary to mention that some of our guests, including my toddler, were bitten by bed bugs, specifically in the rooms near the laundry facilities. We slept in the daybed. I also would recommend the removal of the daybed. My child required medical attention, and the doctor confirmed the bites were consistent with bed bugs.I contacted the host, who responded quickly and stated they would address the issue with pest control and keep me informed. Although the property is charming, I would advise future guests to exercise caution and inspect for any signs, particularly in that area of the cabin.

Amazing Cabin! Everything You Need & Then Some!

This property has it all - beautiful, clean, spacious, luxury, and does not skimp on amenities! They even provided the service of picking up my groceries and delivering them before everyone arrived. Talk about convenience! The one suggestion I have is to add a multi-tier wooden kitchen cabinet or SS shelving unit/baker’s rack (when you walk into the front doors to your right in front of the window), as there is no pantry. We are a family who likes to cook and brought a lot of food, so that would have been beneficial for storing. The layout of the house was just perfect. Everyone had their own private bedroom and bath separate from all the rest. Our family had a wonderful time staying here! Thank you so much for creating such a memorable stay for us!

Dont do it

The property was beautiful and the lay out was unmatched but we had a few concerns. There are no directions to the propane grill i ended up buying a tank because it was late and did not know the grill was secured to a main line so that was a waste of money. We could not get the sonos speakers connected to Bluetooth we were told they would send someone out but they did not show up. Lastly I hate to say this because the place is a great cabin for the family but several people in my party complained of having bites when leaving and the bite patterns resemble BED BUGS now when I booked this I saw the previous comments about the bites and itching and thought to myself that was years ago surely they have taken care of the issue by now and man was I wrong smh the cabin looked like no one had been there in a while with cobb webbs in the corners and the outside table was so dirty the towl was black by the end we shouldn't have to pay cleaning fees when im doing the cleaning hopefully they get it together

Rash/ bites /bathroom leak

The checkin process and communication prior to arrival was outstanding and we were all initially very impressed with the cabin itself. We discovered that the bunkhouse bathroom had water leaking out from under the wall forming a puddle in the toilet room and spread to the floor in the sink room. I called and reported it the next morning and someone came out to look at it but said it was a slow leak and left and we never saw him again. The bathroom continued to leak and we stuffed towels on the floor to stop the puddle from spreading, rotating towels every few hours. On the last day of our trip, a couple people who slept in the two bedrooms that are on the washer/dryer side of the cabin woke up with bites or rash on their torso, hands, and face. A day after we came home, i can confirm everyone who stayed on that side of the cabin has a rash or bites on their face, hands, and necks. Again, the cabin itself was beautiful, the staff were friendly, but we're all a little apprehensive to ever book again due to hygiene concerns. I'm personally going to the doctor tomorrow to see of they can confirm what this rash is. I'm concerned that this is happening to everyone who slept on that side of the house. Thank you, Paul

So relaxing and beautiful.

We had an amazing time at the cabins. We took advantage of the games and hot tub. The kids love playing outside and we loved the fire pit. Lots of amenities to accommodate us. Soo beautiful! Thank you so much for everything..

We will be back!

It was perfect for our family and kids. They loved it and I loved that the bedrooms were all the same. My only suggestions would be we couldn't regulate the temperature in the kids area so it took hours to figure out how to make it warm. Instructions would be much needed. Also there was only one remote control for two different rooms so we had to share the remote. Other than that it was perfect.

Fantastic Getaway!

This property could not have worked out better for our first friends and family trip in more than a year! We had three families with three generations each and everyone had a wonderful time! The design of the home is perfect for a group like ours with a fantastic covered patio and hot tub that came in handy when some thunderstorms rolled in and we especially appreciated the details such as bathroom stools for toddlers and plenty of glasses and dishes for a larger group - plastic plates and cups for the littles, too! We will definitely be back!!! Thank you for helping us create wonderful family memories!
