Bonita Casa - WiFi/Skytv

This newly built sunny comfortable 4 bedroom home named * Bonita Casa * will delight holiday makers. Great location. Close to village centre. A nice modern house with a fresh botanical vibe. Ideal for large groups and families.

The kitchen, dining and living area has been designed with guest entertainment in mind with open plan living. The kitchen is equipped with brand new modern appliances including dishwasher, microwave and amenities, a stainless steel bench top with breakfast bar and stools. The dining area has heat & aircon pump and a bi-folding window which opens right up and offers guest interaction with the outdoor deck.

A cosy lounge area to relax, watch tv or play board games (some supplied). A wood burner too enjoy during those cold winter months. Bi-folding doors to open on warm summer days and take in the fresh mountain air.

Make the most of the outdoor deck area, also roofed with inbuilt lighting a great space to enjoy a drink, entertain and unwind, star gaze at night.

The bedrooms have been given much love and attention. Beds are comfortable with ample pillows. Freshly - laundered, matching linens towels and face cloths are supplied to ensure guest hygiene. The decor is homely and inviting for a peaceful nights sleep. All bedrooms have side tables and lamps. Bedroom one has a super king bed and wardrobe. Bedroom two has queen bed a ensuite and storage bench. Bedroom three has a queen bed and storage bench. Bedroom four is smallest room with bunk beds.
* PLEASE NOTE * 80kgs max top bunk.

The bathrooms are equipped with all your needs, showers only. including heater and heated towel rail. The hairdryer is located in main bathroom.

Laundry room with wash basin, washing machine and dryer, washing powder supplied.

Complimentary tea coffee sugar, individually bottled toiletry including conditioning shampoo and body wash. Hand soap and also face wipes for makeup removal. ( please do not use face cloths for make up removal )

High chair & Port-a-cot available ( on request ) free of charge ( please let us know if port-a-cot is required so we can set it up for your stay as it not stored in home )

Wifi and Sky TV is also provided for your convenience.

Convenient location and comfortable home

The location of this home was ideal for walking into town and not being with all the tourist in town. The home was as described. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the outdoor patio was perfect for enjoying time together to watch the stars appear in the sky.

Perfect for a 4 day family ski trip

This was a great little ski house for two families with kids. Kitchen had all the necessary things, bathrooms were well appointed and apart from some missing bath mats when we arrived (which was rectified straight away) we had an easy, seamless stay. Definitely recommend for a ski holiday in Lake Tekapo.

Beautiful home

We had a great stay at Bonita Casa! The house was clean and comfortable. The back deck was lovely and peaceful in the morning with the little pond and all the ducks! So nice to be able to just walk into town and not have to drive too!

Nice place for family

Good place to stay with family. The beds are comfortable. Two of the 4 bedrooms have a slight glimpse of beautiful mountains surrounding Tekapo, must be nice to see them on winter morning (stayed during summer). It is very close to restaurants and grocery. Kitchen utensils and cutleries need some cleaning though, had to wash them first before use.

Very relaxing home & well appointed.

We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Very warm & especially appreciated the fire. No operating manual for Haier cooktop which wasn’t straightforward

Fantastic Lake Tekapo Rental

We stayed here for two nights in early June of 2023 and it was perfect. The only negative was that our hectic schedule wouldn't allow us to stay longer. The property is well appointed and everything was very comfortable. We really appreciated having our own washer and dryer. Lake Tekapo is a beautiful area to visit and this property is the perfect place to stay.

The house is immaculate lot's of space. We're 2 couples stayed 2 nights. Did BBQ ate in. Supermarket open 8-8 so we could get everything for eating in house. The area is new so not greenery and very windy all day and night. In house all is new. Perfect shower, kitchen and beds.

Great location. Very clean. Very helpful and responsive host. Clear and reasonable instructions. Grocery store and other amenities in walking distance. We used this modern house as a base from which to travel to Mt. Cook (one hour drive away), explore Ahuriri River and hike up Mt. John. Added bonus: brilliant moon rise one night, seeing 4 moons of Jupiter through binoculars at Lake Tekapo another night, watching Paradise shelducks and scaups in nearby pond.

Not bad, but deceptive and poor neighbors.

The home is pleasant and clean. But the picture makes it look like the view is way better than it actually is. Many home in that division have a view of the mountain or Lake Tekapo, this house has a view of the neighbors deck. Also, several of the neighbors have dogs that are either unfriendly (owners warned as away kindly but aggressively) or in another case, they left the dog outside to bark and cry for well over an hour while they sat just inside the patio window. Made our whole group sad. Go to Lake Tekapo, but look for a more promising place to stay.

Our home does have views of the mountains, our home is very loved by our guests and I’m sorry about the neighbors but that is out of our control and not a representation of our home, nor have I seen any dogs as all the homes around us are mostly holiday homes like ours, so this was most likely a one off issue. Never once did you contact me in regards to any issues, I feel this is just a retaliation review due to you having more guests than you had booked for and being called out for your dishonesty.

Lovely place!

We wish we could have stayed longer. The house was a great place for us to unwind a bit. Loved Lake Tekapo - especially The Greedy Cow and paddleboarding on the beautiful lake!

I didn’t end up staying due too Covid lockdowns. But really grateful for the communication. :)

Very easy with communication, and changes due too lockdowns and not being able too stay on the original date. Def planning a trip back once travel is allowed again. As the house/area looks absolutely amazing, and because dealing with the owner who was understanding to our circumstances and just really lovely. My experience was fantastic already, and I haven’t even stayed yet :) but I will. Happy Travelling..,. Soon I hope 😊
