Shorelines offers the complete package! Contemporary luxury design, swimming pool, massive deck, secure parking and easy access to the main beach and Hyams Beach Café. The master bedroom and private balcony also has fantastic views of Jervis Bay. Shorelines sleeps eight in great comfort and is spread over three levels.
Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.
Pool - Please note
- The pool is a shared with the adjacent villa, and so there may be guests from that property using the pool at the same time. - The pool is professionally cleaned on a regular fortnightly basis. However as this is a holiday house and not a hotel, we cannot guarantee that the pool will be serviced on your day of arrival or that it will be free of leaves. The property has trees around it and wind / weather conditions are naturally unpredictable. A pool cleaning basket is provided for your use to clean leaves out of the pool upon arrival or during your stay. - Please also note that the pool and spa at this property are not heated.

Where will I be?
Shorelines is located at the bottom of Bayview Avenue just above the main access to Hyams Beach. It is also an easy walk to the Hyams Beach Cafe or the access point to the National Park. Shorelines is the front unit of two, facing the street.
Why choose Shorelines?
A magnificent outdoor area including a lap pool and spa (neither heated, sorry), gas BBQ and outdoor shower. In addition the inside is nearly as spectacular, making it a very unique property in Hyams.
How is the property laid out?
A series of interconnecting indoor and outdoor living/dining areas ensure guests can enjoy company or savour some peace & privacy. There are three queen bedrooms and one with two king singles, three luxury bathrooms and a fully equipped laundry. The open plan kitchen comes with all the appliances you will need to put together a simple lunch or produce an award winning gourmet dinner. On cool evenings adjust the louvers, light the fire and indulge in some amazing star gazing. This gracious contemporary home offers a high level of luxury & comfort that is sure to create a memorable holiday for your friends or family.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
Shorelines offers complimentary wifi, however, please note, the owners nor the managing agent guarantee connectivity as the service can be intermittent in Jervis Bay. If internet access is critical during your stay please make sure you have a Plan B!
Foxtel is available, and BYO Netflix account.
What about outdoors?
Shorelines has a large L-shaped deck area, accessed from the living areas of the house, and with direct access to the pool area. A gas BBQ is located on the deck. The pool and pool area is shared with 24b Bayview Ave.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Shorelines is equipped with a gas fireplace heater in the living area (turned on via a switch on the wall), as well as two moveable electric heaters. For summer, there are ceiling fans for all bedrooms and the living area.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Linen and bath towels are supplied at Shorelines. Please however remember to bring your own beach towels!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is secure underground parking for two cars across four car spaces that are shared by arrangement with 24b Bayview. Please do not park in front of the garage doors during your stay, and please note that there is a 2.05m clearance for the car park entrance.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Shorelines is not a pet friendly property. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options!
Is there any special information I should know about?
As boring as it may be, whilst the owners of the properties take care to keep the houses in good condition and good working order, nevertheless breakages, outages and malfunctions do occur. When this happens, we will rectify a situation as soon as practicable, however our owners cannot accept responsibility for any loss and no compensation will be given. This applies to the property, its inclusions, the supply of utilities, and the functioning of the pool or spa.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property - Easter: 4 nights - Long Weekends: 3 nights - All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Do not rent this property
The listing said there was a spa and an unheated pool.
When we found out the spa was not heated, I contacted Holiday Collections and said we were very disappointed that we paid more to rent this house because we were mead to believe it had a spa. The response from Loretta was a link to the property management’s website where it says the spa isn’t heated.
When I pointed out that the VRBO description neglected to mention that, Loretta had the VRBO description updated and admitted it was inaccurate on VRBO’s site but refused to provide a partial refund. Instead Loretta blamed platforms like VRBO and booking.com for taking inaccurate information from Holiday Collections’ website.
Loretta then charged my credit card $110 for “vomit” she said had to be cleaned from underneath a lounge cushion. There was no partying going on and definitely no vomiting. The only answer we can think of was poor cleaning after previous guests.
Be careful, if you have any issues, the customer service will be awful and if this company wants to blame you for something, you have no way to stop them from charging your credit card.

We do not like to process bond claims against guests but unfortunately when a property is left in an unsatisfactory condition we have to do so. We have removed the spa from the listing to prevent any future confusion.

Perfect Hyams Beach location and property
Property is beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and has everything that you need with 8 adults staying for a weekend.
Kitchen is perfect for cooking meals for the entire house, BBQ is clean and easy to use, all beds are comfortable.
Location is amazing across from the beach and in a really quiet park of Jervis Bay. But close enough for a quick trip to the shops or busier towns next door.
Pool was okay but a bit awkward being shared with the other duplex.

100m to fabulous beach
This lovely house is easily big enough for two families with lots of space and facilities (eg there are 5 TVs and two coffee machines) No air con but we didn't miss it as it is well insluated and ventilated. Only a short 100m walk to the beach and the cafe. Downstairs has a double room with ensuite, main level has a twin room and a double with shared bathroom and loft level has a master double with with ensuite. The pool is constantly full of leaves owing to surrounding trees, but there is a scoop and it is cleaned and maintained weekly.

Great property
The house has everything you would ever need. The only downside is the bugs in the pool which weren't cleaned but that wasnt much of a problem because the beach was so close anyway.
The previous group of people got a lot of sand underneath the carpet which we cleaned up but other than that everything was perfect.
Very spacious property that is very close to the beach. Would definitely recommend.
