The Space:

Soft morning light filters through tall evergreens, casting gentle shadows across the hardwood floors as you settle into the calm of this mountainside retreat. The quiet surrounding Woodrun Lodge feels especially comforting in the winter months, where cool air and snow-covered trees set the tone for slow mornings and fireside evenings. After time on the nearby slopes, the glow of the indoor fireplace becomes a welcoming end to the day.



Sleeping arrangements

The condo offers two bedrooms and three beds, designed to comfortably host up to five guests. In the primary bedroom, a king bed sits beside a large window that brings in natural views, along with an ensuite bathroom featuring a bathtub and shower combination. The second bedroom includes a tri-bunk setup with a trundle bed that suits families or groups seeking flexible sleeping options. A second full bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower adds convenience and privacy.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen provides the essentials needed for preparing meals, with space that supports easy cooking before or after time outdoors. Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops create a functional setup, while the adjacent dining area seats six and invites slow breakfasts or relaxed evenings. Whether you're gathering before a day at the Blackcomb Gondola or unwinding after exploring the mountains, this area naturally becomes a shared hub.



Living spaces

Large bay windows frame the surrounding forest and let natural light fill the living area. Cozy seating makes room for movie nights or quiet afternoons, while the indoor fireplace adds warmth on winter days. Woodrun Lodge provides access to a heated outdoor saltwater pool, a hot tub, a gym, and an elevator, along with underground parking and a private entrance into the building. The property maintains storage for skis and bikes, helping keep the living area uncluttered. As a single level home with no stairs, the layout is simple and accessible.



Ski access and location

Positioned along Merlin’s run, the property offers direct ski access, allowing you to head to the Blackcomb Gondola with ease. When you're ready to explore shops, dining, or the energy of Whistler Village, a short walk or free shuttle ride brings you there while still allowing a quiet return to the Upper Village.

Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. One designated parking space is provided in the underground parkade, along with access to the ski locker room and building amenities, including the heated outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness centre, and front desk service. The building features an elevator from the parkade for easy access. Guests will receive detailed check-in instructions prior to arrival, with keycard access provided via the front desk or lockbox for after-hours arrivals.



The Neighborhood:

The Woodrun Lodge is one of Whistler's most sought-after locations. It is conveniently located close to the lifts on Blackcomb Mountain in the Upper Village and features a pool, hot tub, and fitness facility. Enjoy the serenity of the mountains, with a short 10-minute walk, or a 5-minute free shuttle to Whistler Village. Access the ski-in/ski-out via the ski locker room to find yourself at the Blackcomb Gondola in a matter of seconds! After a day on the hill skiing, hiking or biking, enjoy a soak in one of Whistler's largest hot tubs at this four seasons property.



Getting Around:

• Direct access to Merlin’s ski run from the rear of the property

• 2-minute walk to Upper Village

• 15-minute walk to the Village Stroll

• 10-minute walk to Chateau Fairmont golf course

• 20-minute walk or 5-minute cycle to Lost Lake

• A 2-minute walk to the small Upper Village Market

• A 5-minute drive to Fresh St. Market for your grocery needs.

• Free village shuttle (Route 5) Leaving from the reception, walk for two minutes, and then turn right at the junction, you will see the shuttle stop



Other Things to Note:

• No air conditioning. Fans are provided for all bedrooms.

• Skis and bikes are not allowed inside individual units. Secure, shared mountain bike & ski storage available – bring your own lock.

• Maximum parking clearance is 6'8 in the underground parking. There are 3 over-height parking spots located by the cul-de-sac on Spearhead Place available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No parking pass is required as Whistler Municipality manages the spaces. You must park between the parking signs or you may be towed and/or ticketed.

Thanks for a great stay at Woodrun in Whistler. Highlights - nice outlook from lounge room and very comfortable lounges. Excellent laundry facilities. Nice and quiet location. We had a few maintenance issues and Whistler Platinum were very quick to sort for us. Excellent communications.Things to be improved - The beds are ok. Main has a bit of a dip in it and beds in second room quite squeaky. But passable. The kitchen is stocked to a medium standard.Things to note - The space is light and comfortable, however, quite small. We are a family of five and it was very tight. I would recommend for a maximum of four people. Ski in/out was great, but on foot the condo is a bit of a walk up the hill.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was super clean, comfortable, cosy and had everything we needed. Loved the ski-in/ski-out and also the hot tub. The staff at Woodrun were super helpful as well. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back and stay again some time.

Perfect!

We had a great time staying in this apartment. It was super clean, comfortable, had everything we could possibly need. Check in was super easy. Loved the hot tub and the convenient ski-in/ski-out. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back some time!

Everything was very good. On the other hand, the absence of a swimming pool was a great disappointment because that was one of our selection criteria. Also considering the heat, it would have been appreciated to be able to use it at any time and as we wish. The 20% discount offered as compensation was too little considering our need above. Also, we had to vacuum under the bed in the children's room because obviously no one had done it for a long time. But the rest of the apartment was very clean.

Great Unit; Horrible Reservation ID System

Nice unit, very well lit, well equipped and well maintained kitchen (though a few more bowls would have been helpful). Great location, virtually ski-in/ski-out. Very prompt and efficient routine maintenance (light bulb replacement). Responsive and professional service. Minor issues with unit condition: Squeaky door hinges, the aforementioned burned-out light bulb, and a toilet that didn't drain properly, Our one major beef is with the intrusive and obnoxious ID requirement to complete the reservation. This onerous process was not disclosed in the initial reservation, and only communicated *after* we paid the VRBO fee, at which point we had to scramble to provide personal information that we are not comfortable sharing online. The option to provide it in person upon arrival was limited in hours (which didn't work with our schedule) *and* only offered *after* the failure of the online system to verify documents. This created a lot of extra work, extra anxiety, and extra communication for us. We will NOT be returning to Whistler Platinum and will try to avoid any other reservations that use the Yoti platform for ID verification.

Almost all good…

Good Morning the flat was very comfortable, well furnished and clean. The only negative point is the bikeroom, too small, full with bikes which have not been used since years.For that price I was expecting something better. Best Regards, Federico
