The restful Muir, features a king-size bed, with pillow-top mattress, desk, sitting space, and garden views to the west and north. Our 2nd largest king room is decorated in light green, and taupe an homage celebrating natural beauty, in the area, and the world at large. The spacious bathroom has a comfortable traditional tub/shower. Remember to bring your salts, and bubbles if planning a hot soak on your visit.
The Oliver Phelps house was built in 1813 and expanded in 1830. An example of Greek revival architecture, it retains lovely features for today’s guests: twelve-foot ceilings, wide plank floors, blown glass window panes, old-growth trees on the grounds, and the spaciousness of a great Federal period home.
