The luxurious Montebello neighbourhood features some of Whistler’s most spacious and well-liked rental properties.

Located about two blocks from the Whistler North Village, this quiet, yet convenient setting is ideal for families looking for their perfect Whistler home base.

This spectacular Montebello townhome has three bedrooms and a large den, sleeping up to nine people comfortably. Two of the bedrooms and the den are located on the ground level. The first bedroom has a Queen bed, the second a double-single bunk and the den has a queen-double bunk bed. One of the three and half baths has a shower and is located off the downstairs hallway and a second downstairs bath with soaker tub is an ensuite bathroom off the Queen bedroom. The Queen room also opens out onto the back deck with direct access to the properties private hot tub. The master bedroom is located upstairs, features a King sized bed and has an ensuite bathroom with double shower. All three bedrooms and the den feature a mounted flat-screen with digital cable package. The open plan style second level houses the dining room, half bathroom, living room with gas fireplace, and the deluxe kitchen with granite counters, high-end appliances and a gas range. The balcony off the main living area offers outdoor seating for four and a gas BBQ.

Montebello #38 truly has too many features and amenities to list including, heated tile flooring throughout, vaulted ceilings, wood finishing, large walk-in closets in all the bedrooms, numerous floor to ceiling windows with wooden blinds, a washer/dryer, forest views and a private heated garage perfect for securely storing all your bikes and ski equipment. Montebello is well known for its attention to detail, award-winning construction and remains one of the best accommodation options for a family vacation to Whistler.

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful property with modern amenities. The first night, we did experience some issues, like the hot water not working, the gas range not working, and some other minor things. Thankfully, Andres (from Whistler superior properties) was able to get it fixed quickly! We had a great rest of the stay and would love to visit again.

Perfect holiday!

Our multi generational family stayed for 5 days at this property and enjoyed it very much. It was our second time staying in the Montebello area and find it very accessible to the village and very quiet. We love having our privacy, nice size house and great hot tub. Unit had everything we needed and would recommend to anyone who are looking for a place to stay.

The Montebello townhouse our group of five stayed in was great! Communication and checkin with Whistler Superior Properties was excellent as well. We were able to walk into town and lifts. We would definitely recommend staying there.

Great location,

This is our 2nd time staying at this unit and it exceeded our expectations again! We had a lovely family weekend away! Walking distance to village closely located to the grocery store! Accommodations were clean, only issue king size bed needs proper size sheets kept coming off! Thank you for another great weekend !

Zero Surprises, the property was comfortable and exactly as advertised. Garage was very handy for storing our bikes. Location was still easy walking access to the village.

We were in Whistler for a wedding. This property is in a great location. Close to the village. It's not fancy, but it's great for an extended multi generational family. The property would have been better if bluetooth speakers had been provided. The property is managed by Whistler Superior Properties. All of my interactions with them were first class, right from the original booking, to payment, to check in, to how fast they responded to issues, to giving us a late checkout. The best property management company I have ever dealt with.

Whistler rental

Very good rental. Great location close to Whistler village with good parking, hot tub, , great view of mountains etc. Overall we are very happy with our stay. Things to improve on are that they should get a functioning vacuum cleaner bc carpet was dirty especially for our crawling infant. Good management though bc as soon as we called the company they called a cleaner with a working vacuum to clean the carpet. Also no gas in the BBQ. They should as a rule have a spare propane tank by the BBQ bc we had a whole meal prepared which we couldn’t make. To the managements credit they did bring a new tank the next day when we called. Also they need to stock more garbage bags. They only left 3 small waste basket garbage bags for a whilole house. We bought our own but when I told them they offered to bring ones right away. I know there are a few small things they can improve on but we would rent this place again in a heart beat. It was great!!

Reasonable place, good location

We were disappointed at check in due to a poor job by the cleaners. Dust all over, dirty masks and other trash under the couches. Burnt garlic bread shoved up in the over. Sink garbage disposal not working and the basement shower not draining. All the issues were taken care of quickly by the management company but some things should be done without having to ask.

Great location and well stocked

4 friends and I stayed here during a mountain bike trip. Great property in a perfect location. Garage was really useful for bike storage, and keyless entry a perk. The hot tub was great for those sore muscles. Property management was very responsive when the hot tub wouldn’t heat and sent a repair guy. (Water was too low for it to heat). The property could have been a bit cleaner (carpets, and they clearly hadn’t vacuumed between/under the couch cushions, for instance). We BBQed most evenings. Well stocked kitchen and baths. BYO board games or decks of cards as there are none.

Excellent property

We had a spectacular weekend the photos don’t even do it justice on how awesome the property is. Beds are super comfortable! We loved how spacious the living room and kitchen breakfast nook was perfect so we could all sit around together. Location is very convenient to walk yo village parking is easy guest parking located right across from unit. Would definitely book again for annual family trip!

Our worst Montebello experience out of 7 trips over the past 7 years.

At Check-in, the property was not ready. Even though it was summer, it turned out to be the rainiest afternoon in all of August and we had no where to go. The unit was not ready until 8:30Pm. It was suggested to us we go to a restaurant or something, to kill the time. My family had to go and stand under covers wherever we could in the village while we waited. Our plan was to cook an anniversary dinner for one of the couples staying with us, and we had a large amount of fresh food that was then under-utilized, leading to a large amount of waste. The Hot tub was cold when we went to use it on day 2, and the water level was low. It was obviously not serviced prior to our stay. At some point this was rectified but we didn't end up needing it after that day, as the weather warmed up substantially. The condition of the unit was fair, but you can see the age and it's feeling run down. Furniture is old and smelly. We have stayed at a number of Montebello Units, this is by far the worst one. The BBQ was also pretty beaten and old, again one of the worst ones we've encountered. I think the biggest difference is all other units were managed by the owners whereas this one is taken care of by Whistler Superior. Although communication was very good with them, the overall experience was not satisfactory by any means. We were refunded the cleaning fee for our inconvenience on a trip that cost well into the four figures. Whistler Superior had an opportunity to do more but they felt this was sufficient. Needless to say, we will avoid this particular unit and Whistler Superior in the future.
