Misty Mountain Retreat is a gem! A private little self contained cottage hidden away in the gorgeous Dandenong Ranges…. It was so nice in fact, we begged the owners to let us stay another night!! Thankfully they agreed and our initial overnight retreat became a weekender 😊 Thanks Pete!

Clean and modern cottage

Hugh yard space for the kids to play. The cottage was clean and modern. The kitchen was well stocked with all supplies. Only complaint was that it’s not a 1 bedroom and should be advertised as a large studio space instead, as the bedroom is not private from the rest of the living space.

Lovely place - no wifi

The only downside was that it’s listed with wifi. Unfortunately there was none!

Wonderful charming cottage in an amazing location!!

This was the exact charming cottage we were looking for a weekend away! Such a wonderful close location to Olinda and Sassafras and all the gardens around! We loved the greenery and animals of the little private courtyard and verandah! Inside was clean and sweet, couple spiders as fellow guests and the fireplace also would have been so cozy but unfortunately didn't work for us :( Otherwise we loved the full provided kitchen and appliances, and the beautiful bedding and pillows made for a cozy and easy stay!
