Beautifully presented home from home. Bottle of wine on arrival, use of all amenities including pantry items. Spacious, family entertainer home. Very comfortable and feels like home except for the numerous personal items (photos etc) of the owners. I’d definitely book again.

Comfortable and spacious home

We loved our stay and Melanie was beyond lovely. Very comfortable and easy home, we loved all the conveniences that a lived in home provides. Highly recommend.

Quiet area, clean and spacious. Short drive to shops. The outdoor room was very comfortable and a great space.

Perfect Christmas

Terrific, well maintained, spacious house. Generous pantry, very well stocked kitchen, great amenities. A small drawback is difficult entry up a steep drive that makes loading harder. Access to the garage was denied us which would have made that entry much easier. Otherwise it's a great house, perfect for what we were looking for.

Clean, spacious and good location

Clean, roomy house which was perfect for a long overdue family catch up. The two five year olds loved the playground and fairy garden around the corner, and a close drive to the beach. Very comfortable for grown ups too with bbq, great kitchen and spacious lounge area. Melanie was a great host.

Great place to stay

Huge house with lovely kitchen/living area and lots of outdoor space. Walking track to the town is at the end of the street or only a few mins drive. Awesome host - thanks so much Melanie!

Awesome stay!

Stayed at this property between Xmas and New Year. The house is huge, loads of space, we barely used even half of it! The main bedroom (king) with ensuite bathroom and large walk in robe is at the front of the house with 2 bedrooms (both queen with BIR's) and the main bathroom (separate toilet) down the back near the main lounge area. There is a second lounge area half way down the hall that's also huge. Outside the kitchen is a big outdoor undercover deck with TV and a great grassy backyard with a clothes line. The owner was kind enough to let us take our 2 dogs so the backyard was great for them to run around in. There are secure side gates so no escaping unless you leave them open! The street itself is very quiet (no noise at all) and we met one of the neighbours who was very friendly. Everything was absolutely spotless inside and out and the owner told us to use anything we wanted in the fridge etc. She had left detailed notes and instructions for various things which were all easy to follow. We were only there for a short time in the evenings/mornings as we out exploring during the day and ate our meals out except for breakfast. We used the rear bedrooms and the beds were super comfy as was the main couch and coming home our TV seemed ridiculously small compared to the main lounge one! Torquay shops are a 5 min drive away (Coles, Woolworths and a variety of other shops) and Geelong is only about 20 mins drive. Communication with the owner was quick and easy from start to finish and all our queries were responded to, including checking we had arrived and everything was okay. The owner also went out of her way to amend our booking to help us. We really enjoyed our stay and could easily live in this house tomorrow! If we are looking for a house in the area again we won't hesitate to book this one.

Great for entertaining

Lovely property with extensive undercover outdoor area which was perfect for bbqs. Very close to the walking track along the creek - lovely walk to the town centre or beaches
