Great weekend away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Only issue we have is that for the second year in a row the oven is filthy and unusable. The thermostat is broken and need replacing. There was also a bag of laundry from the previous rental in the laudnry area. Other than that had a great time, place was clean and given its age acceptable quality . We always have a great time catching up with all the family who travel to be there.

Nice location but House needs an update for the price.

No toilet paper was left in either bathroom, beds were that uncomfortable that I slept on the lounge, no air con and bbq wasn’t in the best state. Location is great.

Family Vacation

This was a good property for our large family. There were enough beds for all and space to hang out. The kitchen was adequate, the fridge a little small for us but we coped. There was a second fridge in the garage for drinks that was handy. The bathrooms were good and the property was clean and tidy on arrival. The yard was plenty big for our pug who had a great time exploring in the bushes.

Great fishing accomodation when we finished cleaning it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Madison made the booking process a breeze. Her customer service skills are exceptional. Bear's Hideaway is in a great location, and is a very practical, fit for purpose accommodation. Although on arrival, could see that some maintenance to the property was well overdue. We had trouble locking some of the doors, there was a drawer missing in the kitchen, some tiles had started to come away from the wall, and about a third of the lights didn't work at all. However our biggest concern was the cleanliness, or lack there of,of the place. The oven looked like it had never been cleaned since it was installed, the utensils needed to be washed to remove food that was left on them, the egg flipper didn't require an egg as it was already covered in it, the toilet upstairs had public hair left in the back of the seat, while the downstairs one had GT stripes left inside the bowl.If the cleaners had actually done their job, we would've had more time to holiday instead of doing it for them. Overall feedback: give Madison a raise, get the owner to do some basic maintenance so that the property reaches its full potential, but definitely sack your cleaners as all they did well was make the beds. The toilets, showers, bench tops, and BBQ are cleaner now than when we arrived. We didn't touch the oven as the last 30 occupants food was still i there and it set the smoke detection off when we turned it on to preheat it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. I’m glad I was able to make the booking process easy and that you were happy with my customer service. I’m really sorry to hear about the cleanliness issues you experienced on arrival. This is certainly not the standard we expect, and I completely understand how frustrating it would have been to spend your holiday cleaning. I’ll be following up with the cleaners regarding the issues raised and will also pass the maintenance items on to the owner so they can be addressed. We really appreciate you bringing these things to our attention, as it gives us the opportunity to improve the property and the experience for future guests. Thank you again for your feedback, and I’m glad you were able to enjoy the location despite the issues. Thankyou, Mid Coast Team

Family getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. A nice house but was lacking some TLC. One of the kitchen drawers front was missing and there were a few staple kitchen items that were not available like measuring cups, wooden spoons and mixing bowls. But the stay was lovely and my whole family enjoyed it. The big rumpus room was great so all the kids could sleep in the same room and spend time with their cousins telling stories and listening to music before bed. Would definitely stay there again

The rental agency were so amazing and let us in 3 hours early. The accommodation was very clean and location was in great walking distance to restaurants. The kitchen was full of everything we needed. Fill size fridge. No aircon but all rooms are equipped with good fans. The mattress need replacing as they are not that comfortable.

Harrington - Great location and Family getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house perfectly accommodated myself, family and friends for our recent getaway.Plenty of fridge/freezer storage. Huge backyard, fully fenced property with an incredible location. All within walking distance to the bowls club, beach and Em's thai.Comfortable beds with 2 toilets and 2 showers. An older home with older furniture, however it was clean and presentable and much less stressful with younger children.Property manager was extremely easy to deal with and check in/out was smooth too.We will be back for sure.
