Bright Family holiday

Linda’s property was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Hosts were very prompt and helpful with a couple of enquiries. Perfect accommodation and location for our family holiday.

Lovely house which actually looks even better than the photos. Location is really good with a short walk to town along the river. We were 4 couples and the set up was fantastic. The lounge was cosy with the fire and plenty of sofa space. Kitchen was large and had everything we needed and there are 2 separate dining areas (one inside and one outside) Communication with the house was very good.

The perfect home away from home.

Thanks to Linda for such an amazing stay. The house was fantastic- clean, cosy and perfectly located. We loved relaxing by the fire. We will definitely be back.

We have stayed in Bright for about five years, this house was by far the best to date , it truly is home away from home with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, the rooms are clean big and spacious close to town but without the noise of traffic.We will come back to stay in this house again.

Calm stylish oasis, spacious inside and out.

This is a fantastic house in a lovely setting. Brilliant amenities, from a 'mud room' adjacent to foyer, walk in pantry, massive master bedroom, and 2 generous lounge areas. The two 'wings' of the house make it excellent for ensuring everyone has some space. The main lounge has a lovely green outlook and is a lovely space to just hang out in. Loved having a sunny deck and flat grassy yard surrounded by trees. Access to a garage for storing bikes was excellent. Midstsommer is just far enough out of town to feel quiet and peaceful, but easy enough to stroll in along the river path. Also, right at the start of the cycle path towards myrtelford. Loved our stay.

Summer at Midtsommer

My family holidayed for a week at Midtsommer. The property was exactly as pictured and described, offering the perfect mix of style and comfort. Midtsommer was great for us as we had 3 generations of our family staying together (age range: 9 - 75) and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The property was in a great location, close to the river, rail trail and a short walk to town. Linda and Martin were excellent hosts.

Spacious house with eye catching view.

My family and I had the most wonderful weekend in Bright.With the majority of our time spent at this home. Playing games, listening to beautiful music. Cooking wonderful meals in the well equipped kitchen-and taking in the view. And taking walks around the townships and drives to the winery. We look forward to our next adventure , and plan to stay in this beautiful home again.😊

Autumn in Bright

Great house, all rooms filled with light.All mod cons. Our party of 8 adults had plenty of room to spread about in the two living areas. Roaring fire at night. Nice hot showers. Easy walk into town, either by footpath or Canyon bush walk. Plenty to see, do and eat around the area. Linda very easy to deal with. Highly recommend.Thanks for a great holiday

Bright - Fishing, Cycling, Hiking

Fantastic property, located a short stroll to the town centre of Bright. Plenty of space, exceptionally clean with all the main amenities required for a long weekend or even more time if you like. A great hub from which you can explore the surrounding areas, be it fishing, cycling to the top of Mount Hotham or hiking your way to Mt Feathertop. Linda was very easy to deal with and quick to respond to any communication. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for an escape from the city. Thanks Regards, Ivo.

Midtsommer January 2022

Midtsommer provided the perfect home for our group of cyclists. The communal areas of the house are spacious, comfortable, with an abundance of natural light. The kitchen is well equipped, and with options for group dining. The placement of the bedrooms allows for a quiet retreat from the living areas. Overall, the house is beautifully presented with careful attention to detail. Its proximity to the river is ideal for swimming and accessing walking tracks. The host, Linda, was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Fabulous property

The property was perfect for our group of 8 women cyclists. It was beautifully appointed, clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for communal dinners. Excellent communication & responsiveness from the property owners. Highly recommended.

Amazing house. Lots of room and beautiful location. So many lovely touches.

We are a group of 7 female friends we wanted to stay at Bright to capture the beauty of autumn for a 4 day break, and it certainly didn't dissappoint. The house was fantastic modern and open. It had lots of space to interact and also another lounge area if you needed some quiet time. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped as was the rest of the house. The outlook from every window was lovely. Would highly recommend this house to friends and families. It was a bit out of town but the walk in was lovely although dining out at night meant we had to drive in. So we ate out for lunch and stayed in at night and enjoyed this beautiful house. The booking process was easy and any questions we had were replied to promptly, we were also contacted before arrival to say house was ready.

Great Location. Nice stroll into town

Midtosommer was exactly as described. Perfect stay for a family of 7 (all adults). Lots of room to spread out and also be together. Beautiful, peaceful location with walks and swimming at the doorstep. Sat in the backyard and felt like you were in a secluded bush setting; birds chirping, sunsets and sunrises; perfect! Great location. About a 20 minute easy walk from the centre of town. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely house in beautiful Bright

The house had a couple of teething problems as I understand its new to the rental market, but it is a beautiful place and had everything we needed. The location is great in that it is quiet and peaceful, but almost on the bike rail and only an easy 25 min walk into Bright's shops and restaurants. Linda and Martin from Rooms & Brooms were very helpful and lovely to deal with.
