Fishing group

The home was extremely fitting for our needs as a fishing group of family and friends. We enjoyed time on the lake and relaxing time at the house playing games and BBQing . The listing was exactly the way we experienced our stay . We will be returning for another visit.

RENTER BEWARE::::::Premium Price For A Substandard VRBO Home

When we arrived the check in process was easy and the house looked very nice. But, for the price there were so many thing that needed attention. 1. The first night we were there we tried to light the pellet stove (no instructions). We texted the owner and she did not know how to light it and apologized. She then had a family member call us who also did not know how to light it and told us to look on YouTube as to how it worked??? Not once during our four night stay did anyone ever get back with us to see if we were able to get it lit. 2. There were bathrooms trash cans that were not emptied. There were towels with stains and had bleach spots on them. 3. The kitchen sink had to be scrubbed out as there was crud left in the bottom and corners. 4. There were ants on the kitchen counter top. We did not notice them until we started putting food out for dinner. 5. We found a SNAKE in the oven. YES, I said a snake and it was alive! I have pictures. 🐍 6. The oven was filthy and took at least 45 minutes to heat up to 350*. 7. Not all of the burners on the stove worked. 8. The gas grill on the patio was nasty with old cooked on food and rust. And, the burners were rusted out which made cooking rather challenging. 9. There was a small partial roll of paper towels in the kitchen. We ran out the first night we arrived and there were no others in the house. 10. There was old freezer burned food left in the utility room freezer. Probably left by previous guests. The list goes on...

Weekend get away

Our trip to this beautiful house that is water front was amazing! The amount of space available on the inside and outside was a huge bonus. We do not have one complaint about this property. The owners are very nice and will send you a text with all the instructions you need for the weekend at their home. Thank you for having us!

Family vacay

We had a wonderful time! The property is beautiful. The only issues we had was with the oven and issues with hot water on one side of the house. We just made adjustments and rolled with it. The owner of the property was lovely as well.

week long friends/family vacation

Our stay was fantastic! greatly enjoyed the week and glad we found this location - residence was in great shape, furnishings were up to date and comfortable, lots of space, property grounds were well maintained and property owners were very responsive to any communications. Just a really enjoyable time at this property - absolutely no complaints.

Some issues but we would come back

We did a family New Year’s weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, living room was plenty big and the kitchen was nice with extra fridge and freezer in laundry room. There were a couple details that could’ve been better. Two toilet paper holders were broken. A big chair at the dining room table was broken and a bit dangerous. We grilled burgers but because the girl I had some rest about spots on the burners it was hard to control the flame, therefore burning the food even with foil down. The hot tub needed to be cleaned and the dresser in the master is pretty useless, because the drawers don’t open and shut easily, they are all off the tracks. The master bathroom is wonderful but the hot water runs out pretty quickly….We loved the artwork and how many bathrooms were available. The kids played Xbox upstairs and had a blast.I asked the contact for the lake house about the kitchen, what cookware was available, etc and she said she got back to me after saying she would check and let me know. That lack of communication was disappointing. She did help us find the location when we got lost. Google and Apple take you to the wrong place. Details matter, but overall it was a great trip :)

Relaxing Stay

Our family loved this house and location. The dock on the property was an added bonus. We rented a boat for the weekend and spent the morning on the lake and the afternoons on the property. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate us all working together cooking meals. The house had spots for all ages. Would rent again for sure.

Great weekend at Grand Lake

This house was great for our family (our kids, their spouses, and our grandchildren). It was very accessible for the boat, right on the lake. We had a wonderful time. The property manager was very responsive.

Annual family trip

The property was a good fit for our family. One more bedroom would make it perfect, but we made it work. There were a few things wrong, including the master bedroom door to toilet, drawers stuck/had hardware missing. No towel holder in "Cowboy" bathroom, fridge quit working the morning we left, but was probably a breaker. More wine glasses and place mats would be nice to have. Very nice place.

Friends lake house week

The property is incredible; clean, great first impression, great layout, dock is just a short walk at the back of the property, back patio is very enjoyable. Would love to come back again!! The only real issue that we had is that the queen bunk beds are not functional for two adults per bed even though advertised as sleeping two in each queen bed of the bunk beds.

Our 4th year to go to Grand Lake. We have stayed in a different property each time with something not quite right. We will likely always try to come back to this property. Communication and response from the property manager was excellant. Everything was convenient and met all of our needs.

Great location on the water!

The house was very spacious and the beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub every day! The pier was east to access and we brought paddle boards and a kayak to enjoy in the water. We did have minor issues that were dealt with quickly by the property manager. The ceiling fans on patio did not work and after trying to repair them they brought us a box fan to use while we were there. The washing machine did unfortunately break our second to last night there but maintenance came out right away and it was determined a new machine would be installed when we checked out. The kitchen was great for cooking - lots of counter room and many stove burners. There was not a lot of extra Pyrex or Tupperware but we did bring some of our own so it worked out. Overall, a great house for multiple family or friends to stay!
