Blue Haven - Stunning Views/Private/Pet Friendly/With Self Contained Cabin/Wi-Fi

Blue Haven is nestled amongst Coromandel’s native bush and is high above the beautiful safe swimming beach of Waitete Bay, only 1km away. Panoramic views of the Hauraki Gulf, Islands and vast countryside is what greets you as you enter this spacious 2 bedroom holiday home which has a separate cabin and bathroom - your optional extra! The very generous undercover deck accessible from both lounge and dining areas provides that perfect indoor/outdoor living whether you are cooking on the Weber BBQ or relaxing on the daybed. The new well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas hob and more, is a pleasure for the culinary lovers. This house offers it all unlimited internet, smart TV, outdoor shower and cozy fire for those cooler months. In the evenings you can listen to the calls from our resident Kiwi’s, then wake from the king bedroom to those stunning sea views.
The cabin just below the house is secluded with separate parking and entrance. Offering a queen bed, sofa, bathroom, fridge/freezer, microwave and Weber BBQ you can appreciate that magnificent outlook from its own private deck - Perfect for extended family or friends.
For the fishing enthusiasts there is ample boat parking, fish filleting area and the "all-tide" Amodeo Bay boat ramp situated just 2.5kms south. Well manicured grounds and gardens with complimentary "vege" patch also for the green fingers of the family! Our larger backyard offers amazing bush walks and mountain bike tracks for the more energetic.
All of this and more and you can even share it with the furry four legged members of the family!!

***Please note the main house only sleeps 4. Extra people will require the cabin that sleeps 2. There is an additional fee of $100.00 per night to use this facility which includes linen and cleaning.***

Blue Haven is a stunning scenic coastal drive with breathtaking views of the Hauraki gulf 19.5kms north of Coromandel Township and 9.7kms south of the iconic Colville Store and Hereford n Pickle Cafe that sells their own fresh home grown Hereford Beef. Hike & Bike also situated in Colville offer extremely popular tour options. The Papa Aroha Motor Camp 6.5kms south has a store for your general conveniences.

It was an extremely hot afternoon when we arrived so enjoyed sitting under the cover on the sun deck, taking in the incredible harbour views and relaxing on the day bed. Proved to be the perfect place for a quiet bbq with friends, with well appointed kitchen and outdoor dining table. We were all very tempted to stay longer and skip walking the Pahi Coastal Trail since Blue Haven was very comfortable and Waitete Bay looked very inviting. Communication with Aaron and Paula was always prompt and clear. This is a well-cared for and considered holiday home - even the gardens were impressive. Highly recommend.

The most beautifully presented clean home. Bush and ocean views, lovely gardens, everything you need for a relaxing peaceful and private escape. Even if it’s raining you can still enjoy outdoor living with the massive covered deck. The master bed is super comfy with gorgeous ocean views. Lovely kitchen and washing facilities.

Wonderful Break - beautiful spot!

The reviews are right! This spot is amazing and the property is beautiful. My wife and I spent four wonderful nights relaxing here. Aaron was great when we had a small issue and so accomodating. Best spot in the place - the day bed on the deck. And thank you for the fishing advice - got a lovely snapper dinner! Can’t wait to come back!

Birthday Getaway

A lovely place to stay with awesome views, loved the peaceful garden. If there was one negative it would be maybe a couple of sun chairs on deck, as I am not a big fan of bbq tables, although your one is lovely and big, but not ideal for relaxing with a book and with five of us we had to share the day bed. The house was very tastefully decorated. Will definately be back again. Our oversea friends just loved it.

Amazing view!

Had a fabulous Easter weekend getaway with the family! The views were amazing - loved sitting out on the covered deck admiring the beautiful beach and mountain views.The beach down the end of the road was relaxing and we enjoyed using the kayaks.Will definitely be back :)

Wir haben zu viert in diesem schönen Haus gewohnt und wären gern noch eine Nacht länger geblieben, leider war es schon wieder vergeben. Sehr schön gelegen, Meerblick vom Schlafzimmer, unterhalb schöne kleine Strände. Wir haben in Thames auf Vorrat eingekauft, ist zu empfehlen. Gut geeignet für Erkunden der Nordhalbinsel. Es hat uns sehr gefallen

So beautiful

Our plan was to escape the city to finally get some r&r, Blue Haven did exactly that. It was our home away from home. Sunsets are beautiful, even during a storm, Blue Haven continued to be magically for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
