Unwind and relax in nature at this comfortable and cozy cottage near the Kennebec lake in the Lake O'Lakes area at Arden.

A perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends amidst nature with a 2 mins walk to the lake. Access to the town of Sharbot lake is less than 15 mins for groceries/alcohol/fuel/walk-in clinic and restaurants.

Rentals for water sport activities are available in the area. Check with Springwood Cottages for Supplies.

Misrepresentation has a new definition

VRVO should verify the authenticity of each and every postings on your platform. I have booked my first using vrvo and person has grossly misrepresented his property with some borrowed pictures from somewhere. Our booking was from 09/03-09/05 and yet I have checked out on 09/04 itself.

The beach looked nothing like the pictures!!! Poor communication. His 'urgent' number was not answered and I have an un addressed text that is now 24 hours old. The water pressure on the shower was not enough to was the soap off my daughters hair. We ended up using pots and the sink. Needless to say we did not shower for the three days we were there. We learned, while were driving to the cottage, that bath towels would not be provided, just hand towels. I guess we did not need them anyways. :) He surprised us as well with a $20 fee to remove the garbage. We had one bag. He will take liquor containers at no charge. We killed off a handful of large black wasps / hornets inside the cottage which suggests a nest may be under that cottage. One of the neighbours enjoys barbequing naked. A laugh for us, but may be a bit more traumatizing for younger children. I understand the challenges of maintaining a family cottage and would of appreciated knowning ahead of time about the water pressure, garbage tax, and towels. The wasps and the neighbour, just added to the less than optimal experience that we had.

Relaxing stay

The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and perfect for our time away. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our time there. We enjoyed our time there and would consider coming back for another stay!

Lovely picturesque location, well equipped and very comfortable!

This cottage was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and more! Fortunately we booked a very hot week, with no rain…so the air conditioning was very much appreciated! The only complication was that as seniors, we found the terrain to the waterfront more challenging than we were comfortable with , so if easy water access is important but mobility is an issue, this may cause some difficulty. . Fortunately Sharbot Lake Park and beach are not far, so we spent our beach time there. That said, we enjoyed our week and the hosts responded to our messages super quick! Thank you 😀

Nice cottage close to Kennebec Lake.

We had lots of fun tubing behind our boat and fishing. The cottage was nice and cozy and had everything we needed to spend our vacation by the water this summer!

A comfy cottage in the woods. The cottage is well maintained with all essential amenities. Host gave proper instructions about the check in and parking. No confusion at all in that regard. Host allowed us to check in early. There are sensor lights outside. So even if it’s dark, walking from parking lot to the cottage is not a problem. I was pretty impressed with that.

My friends and I loved this place. Everything you could want. Lake is walking distance, bon fire spot was awesome, definitely would love to stay again :)
