This is a Self-Contained 2-floor Apartment located in Central Whitianga and just 1 Minute Walk to the shops and cafes as well as the Marina. It consists of on the ground floor a Living Room open plan with a Dining area and Kitchenette, there is also a bathroom with a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room. On the upper floor is the bedroom with both a King Size Double and a Single Bed - total 5 guests.

Christine and Peter are awesome, kind and courteous hosts. The place is immaculately clean with all the necessary amenities. Beds are comfortable and it is a quiet environment. Walking distance to town, ferry, restaurants. We had a wonderful stay.

Wish we had more time

Stayed 2 days with Christine and Peter- also met some of the family! Entirely lovely people. The unit in the back of the property was clean, well appointed and truly convenient to all the wonderful things Whitianga has to offer.

Great little place, close by the wharf

Christine and Peter were fantastic hosts and very welcoming. Their garage suited was perfect for our Family (2 kids). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the washroom was clean and well equipped, kids loved the upstairs sleeping arrangements. Location was great, few minutes walk to the wharf and restaurants. Thank you Christine and Peter! We will be happy to visit in the future!

Great place to stay

Enjoyed our stay, very nice and tidy cute place. Wonderful bedroom upstairs and comfortable bed and owners are a very nice couple.

Beach Bach bliss

A perfect 2 days in Whitianga. The location and vibe of the bach was spot on for our family holiday. Loved our hosts - they were super friendly and provided great recommendations for places to visit and dine in the local area. Highly recommend! Should have stayed longer!

Charming Carriage Cottage

Located on the owners property. Walkable to everything in town and the beach. Owners are lovely to visit with and have lots of info on the area. Very quiet neighbourhood. We should have stayed longer!

Great little Bach, central location

This was a great little spot for our 4 nights in Whitianga. Clean, well equipped little kitchen and close enough to explore town and the foreshore on foot. Kids (4 and 7 y/o) loved the upstairs bedroom. Thanks for the lovely stay Christine.

Peter and Christine who run the property were just the most helpful and lovely people. On the morning we left our car had a flat battery and they went out of their way (in torential rain) to help us. The property is within walking distance of the town. There is so much to do in and around Whitianga and Christine and peter gave us such helpful information.

A cozy place to stay in

It was a wonderful weekend. Christine is very caring and considerate. You feel like home in such a cozy place. There is everything you need. The place is located in 5 minutes walk from marina, so you can leave your car and enjoy long evening walks around.

Nice cosy place

We (family of four) spent Waitangi holiday at the place for 3 days/two nights and enjoyed our stay. Close proximity to beach and local amenities (cafes/shops etc.). Lovely hosts. Would get back again.

100% recommend, had an amazing time!!

Myself and a few others had an unforgettable stay at this gorgeous cottage with the amazing location in the heart of whitianga. We were blown away by the friendly, welcoming hosts who went out of their way to make our stay nice and comfortable. It has great cooking facilities which catered to all our needs. Although we were mostly out and about it was nice to return to a homely environment after a long day. Definitely recommend and will be back to stay again!!

Amazing little property!

My partner and I stayed over the queen’s birthday weekend, and found the property very comfortable and homely and great little place to just relax, even with the bad weather over the weekend. We will definitely be coming back.

Had an amazing stay with a few friends at this lovely bach. Good location, nice and close to the town centre and the host was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back with the girls!

This was a great spot for our start of our new zealand trip. It is a very cosy little cottage where staff made it warm for us on arrival with the heater already going. The showers were amazing - we loved the shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and wash. Made us smell amazing. The kids loved chilling away from parents upstairs as they were content with their free wifi. It also has great cooking facilities - everything you need. Parking is available across the road in the church car park - location to shops is also very handy. Loved our stay here. It isn't big on space - but it has everything you need.

Lovely people lovely place

This was lovely and clean and had everything you could want. Owners were friendly and really helpful...we even got given snapper fillets fresh off the boat! I guess the only things to keep in mind are the stairs to bedroom are steep and narrow ..especially coming down and the unit is a converted garage really close to their home so at times it didn't feel really private. But still handy to everything and comfortable place to stay. Thanks
