The Space:
Step back into a bit of nostalgia in this cosy older home with three bedrooms, sleeping up to six guests. Two rooms have queen beds, and the third has a king single with a trundler.
The classic kitchen and laundry bring back the feel of old holiday homes, while modern comforts like a heat pump in the lounge and heaters in the bedrooms keep you warm year-round.
Outside, the kids can enjoy the backyard, and there’s a lockable shed for bikes and gear. You’ll also have off-street parking and a sunny deck that’s perfect for your morning coffee or an afternoon drink after a day out in Taupō.
If you’re in town for one of Taupō’s many events, this cottage is in a fantastic location. The Ironman swim start is just a 5-minute walk away, T1 is close by, and the run and cycle routes are right on your doorstep—making it easy for friends and family to support you throughout the day.

The Neighborhood:
The lake is an easy five-minute walk down the road. The house neighbours a Foursquare Superette and a café. A block away is The Brantry, a local fine dining restaurant. The house is within walking distance to several more restaurants and on Sunday, you’re merely blocks away from the weekly craft market.
If you are coming to one of Taupō’s sporting events, this house is in the perfect location as the racecourse of most big events (Ironman, Taupo Marathon, and Cycle Challenge) is only 200m from the property, so your supporters can easily take breaks while cheering you on. The Tongariro North Domain, where most races start and end, is only a quick drive away.

Valid Sunday–Thursday this month only. Excludes weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. Free night must be requested when booking. You will need to book the first two nights, and we will reserve the third one separately for you to enjoy.
Guest Rules:
No parties, smoking, or pets.
Keep noise indoors and minimal after 10 pm.
Amenities:
Highchair & Cot Availability: We have a limited number, please request before booking to avoid disappointment - Bedding for the cot is not provided.
Starter kit of essentials: Tea, coffee (instant), sugar, oil, salt & pepper, milk, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, dishwashing tablets, rubbish bags, shampoo & body wash, hand wash, toilet paper.
Professional linen provided and one body towel per guest (no facecloths).
Other Info:
$200 pre-authorisation hold applies if booking outside Airbnb.
Security camera at front door/driveway only.
The backyard has a marked off area that is not safe for children.
The fireplace is not available to use.
