This was a stunning holiday home that was enjoyed by our family of four (two adults and teens). The layout was perfect for us to enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces - including the canal and ability to fish off the boat dock. The home was very well appointed for us all to feel like we were at home, albeit in the fabulous Florida sun. The canal - water traffic and wildlife - were an absolute bonus to our holiday; we saw both dolphins and manatees and caught fish using the provided rods. The pool and integrated spa were perfect for adults and kids alike to enjoy anytime of day. The kitchen and living area had everything you could need and it was nice that the owner chose to let folk leave condiments for guests to use - it always feels so wasteful throwing away purchased goodies!The living, kitchen and bedroom areas were perfect for relaxing in and the range of televisions provided ample choice for some time out! The local area itself is absolutely lovely and when you’re driving in to Apollo Beach, and then turn down the road, to the property, you realise you’ve found somewhere really special to stay! Further afield the property is perfectly located for heading either to Tampa, Clearwater Beach or to Anna Maria Island - our locations of choice for beach time, retail therapy or food. Locally the food choices are very good for either breakfast, coffee or evening meals.All in all Kat has provided a stunning property that will suit anyone who wants to be able to relax!!

Wonderful house

I was very happy and satisfied with the structure and comfort of the house. Everything was well organized, clean, and cozy — it truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

Apollo beach

Kay was great to work with. Her home was in perfect condition and worked well for our party of 5. Plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the outdoor space and the kitchen was well stocked. Would stay again when visiting our family in Tampa.

Lovely Property

The view is absolutely amazing at this home. Kat has always been responsive and helpful. This is our second time visiting the property and would go back again. The view of the canal is amazing and house clean with everything you may need.

Great Property & Location!!

The property itself was very nice. The loss of stars directly resulted from my communications with the host themselves. - Host unwilling to accommodate any check-in earlier than 4PM, so don’t book an early flight. We ended up sitting on the property driveway for over 2 hours after traveling for 12 hours. - The inside door handle to the property was broken which prevented my family from entering the property even after the deadbolt was unlocked. This resulted in further delays to the start of our vacation. - The hosts incessant texts messages about the property led me to believe they monitored the cameras. They went as far as to remind us to take out the trash and then again to bring up the trash cans. I am a very low maintenance tenant. I respect property as if it was my own and I have very high personal standards of cleanliness, demeanor, and proper communication. The quality of my stay was directly detracted from by the communications with the host.

Great stay, beautiful stay

What a beautiful home. Everything was exactly as shown in the listing. The home was so well equipped with everything you would need. We seen dolphins and manatees in the canal from the dock. Caught fish from the dock too. Our family had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were great. We only had a few questions and our host Kat was very quick to respond. Everything was so nice. Helped our family have a wonderful vacation in the sun!!! Would definitely stay here again!!! Thanks Kat for sharing your beautiful home with our family!

My Wife and I.......two very, very, seniors.

Hands down, a very nice home to spend some time living in. One, if not the best, Cleanest and most Stocked homes ever. Believe me, we have rented many vacation homes in the past. The owner (known as simply "Kat" ) was very sweet and a joy to meet. Very attentive to whatever questions and/or concerns we may have asked. And walked the talk when or if it was necessary. If there was a Sixth Star she would have it. Our only regret is that none of our Grandkids could have shared the experience with us (lots there for them to enjoy too) But sadly, those times are past (they grow so fast) Thanks Kat

Beautiful Home in Great Location

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. We had easy access to activities and restaurants. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for two teen boys who could fish and play pool on the pool table. The spa was acting up, so that was unfortunate, but stuff like that happens. Would recommend and we would return in the future as well!

Flawless Accommodations and Cleanliness !

My wife Johnnye and I found this home and Owners to be exemplary in providing a home that was in perfect condition, supremely maintained, fully stocked with all the products you would use in your own home both in cleaning supplies, kitchen supplies and every utensil imaginable....All top quality silverware, glasses, plates, knives, pots and pans and on and on. The owner's high standards and good taste abounds with high quality and super comfortable furniture and tables and chairs. In addition, furnishings are lovely and tastefully shown thru-out the home. The layout of the house is very open and spacious and designed to provide privacy to multiple guests if that be the case.. The view to the pool and inland canal is simply beautiful and the sunset visibility is spectacular. The pool and Pool Area is pristine and incredibly clean and the atmosphere created is supremely relaxing. I like to fish, and I was amazed to find an assortment of high quality fishing rods and gear readily available for use to fish from your private dock on the canal behind the house. In addition, the house provides numerous games families can play as well as an extremely high quality professional Pool Table with Excellent high quality Pool Cues. In closing, we can't say enough good things about this property and the superior care given it by the owners. Their personal standards are reflected in every aspect of the house ...Even the toilet tissue is top quality ! Also, we found the street and neighborhood to be the best in that area and easily accessible to stores, supermarkets and restaurants and just a few more miles down the road to St. Petersburg and Tampa and all that those areas have to offer. Then come back to this lovely, relaxing home for your favorite libation, watch some TV ( Excellent, Big Screen TV's abound) outdoor Grill your favorite Steak, take an evening dip in your super clean, pristine pool , savor the gorgeous sunset and totally relax and enjoy the rest of your evening. Needless to say , we were very pleased !

R&R in Apollo Beach

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay at Kat and Chris's home. The house has been recently renovated and is beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. Kat and Chris were very responsive to all of our needs and questions. Such a relaxing month for us in the sunshine state!

Private/Safe Neighborhood; Elegantly Furnished/Proactive Hosts/Close to attractions

Absolutely a beautiful home. Pictures accurately described the home. The hosts (Kat & Chris) made my trip feel like I was “at home” visiting with family and friends. They were very responsive from Day 1 until the day that I departed. They provided me with suggestions of outstanding place to visit and restaurants. I am working to acquire my Florida Real Estate license and they referenced me to a local Apollo Real Estate agent while I was in town. Even as I went for my early morning jogs, the surrounding neighbors seem to know I was a guest (as it is a small street of private residents) but were very very polite and always initiated smiling and saying hello. I felt safe in their home and the neighborhood. I appreciated the upgrades and quality furniture in this home; some Airbnb rentals go cheap non-quality furnishings when decorating the inside of the homes- this home did not. This is why I selected this home. It felt like being in my own home! Beautiful Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Close to major attractions. I visited (the two 18-hole, Bay Palms Golf Complex on MacDill AFB), Apollo Beach, San Maria Island, St Peter's fabulous pier Outlet shopping and restaurants. I loved sitting out in the evening watching the small boats riding in the canal. I would highly recommend this home to small private groups, families and even business travelers. I can not wait to return when I visit Apollo Beach, Florida again - : )
