Province Lake House accommodates up to 10 guests across 5 luxurious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. With direct access to Lake Daylesford and just a short walking distance to the heart of town, it’s hard to find a better property for location, comfort and style.
The Space:
Modern, yet oozing timeless style. This is an elegant and invigorating backdrop to your cultural escape: spacious open plan living, an abundance of natural light and magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows framing uninterrupted, 180-degree panoramic views. A covered deck outside is your perfect vantage point over Lake Daylesford for sunset, sunrise or anything in between.
Every detail of Province Lake House has been carefully curated for the ultimate guest experience. Fine surfaces and plush furnishings evoke a feeling of true luxury, and unique artworks from local artists feature in almost every space. Be immersed in a stunning house that truly encompasses classic Daylesford charm.
The main lounge is a multi-functional space with a gas log fire and large TV for entertainment. Floor to ceiling windows look out onto the deck and the lake beyond to one of the most unique and captivating views Daylesford has to offer. Adjacent to the lounge is a table large enough to seat a full house. The kitchen, spacious and well-appointed with all the necessary appliances. An island bench with stool seating is perfect for breakfasts, nibbles and pre-dinner drinks.
Outside, a spacious decking with automatic blinds and outdoor setting that overlooks Lake Daylesford is an entertainers dream. Just below, a small garden leads to the bank of the lake and a walking track that circles the water. Like the rest of the home, the bedrooms are bright with clean white walls and light French-European style furnishings. Both ensuites and the main bathroom are contemporary and functional, fitted with off-white tiles and complimentary toiletries. Ducted heating and air conditioning maintain year round comfort no matter what the season.
The Neighborhood:
Daylesford and surrounding region has long been considered a special place of healing, relaxation and indulgence. Nestled at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, the region is most famously known for its natural mineral springs and is home to some of the best restaurants, cafe’s, galleries, wineries and distilleries regional Victoria has to offer. Located just under an hour and a half from Melbourne, the region is home to some of Australia’s most spectacular natural landscapes brimming with native flora and fauna. Getting Around:
There is a limited bus service operating between our beautiful towns. The PTV website will provide the most up to date schedule/timetable. There is a taxi and maxi-taxi local service which can be contacted. Unfortunately Uber has not quite reached us yet.
