Overlooking the pool area, this well-appointed 3 Bedroom / 2 Bath Townhome in

Mammoth Lakes California sleeps up to 10 people. Whip up a gourmet meal in the

spacious kitchen or curl up by a winter fire in the cozy living room and enjoy

a spectacular view of the Mammoth Crest. Unit even comes with free WiFi and

private washer/dryer!! Shopping, movie theaters, and dining are only a short

walk away and conveniently located on the Mammoth Mountain Red line shuttle

route. A spa, sauna, and laundry facilities round out this mountain side,

restful location. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek

Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna,

full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Approx 1700 sq

ft with 2 parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more

parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for

alternative options. Living room: Queen Sleeper Sofa, 47" Flatscreen HD TV/

Blu Ray DVD, kitchen, dining, pellet burning fireplace, full bath. Master

Wonderful Stay for friend group of 9

This was perfect for a friends group of 9 for a trip to mammoth. We were able to fit all the girls on one floor with their own shared bathroom and mens in one floor with their own shared bathroom. The property had everything we needed and was cozy. Easy check in and check out

Super convenient and spacious

All in all, this was a great property for a larger group of people. There were 8 of us, and we fit very comfortably. The only issue was none of us could connect to Wifi, and the oven didn't work, and we didn't know it did not work, so we had thought to use it, and we couldn't. That was kind of a bummer. But, you really can't beat the location, as it was walking distance to shops and restaurants, and right next to the bus/trolley route.

Disappointed

Very disappointed that WiFi was included but NEVER worked. Stove alarm kept going off at random times of the day and in the middle of the NIGHT! Oven did NOT work which ruined our lasagna dinner. Service personnel could NOT fix it. Mostly disappointed that Mammoth Sierra would allow someone to rent this place. We will NEVER use them again.

Unit #15

In general the condo is in good condition and the kitchen appliances were updated. That being said the new oven would not work and kept on turning off on us. The maintenance crew ended up coming over a couple of days in a row and they could not fix it. I know the oven going on the blink was not the property managers or the owners fault and they did try to fix it. At the end of the day they did compensate us for the broken oven with out me asking. We have been staying in this condo for many years and this was the first time we had any problems. We will be staying in this condo again next year!

Family friendly and cozy place to stay

Chateau de Montagne #15 is a great place to stay if you're traveling with multiple families with young children. The accommodations are clean and cozy. The kitchen is well-equipped and the configuration provides for a flexible setup. The complex is located right off the Blue shuttle line and very close to Von's and other shopping. One drawback is the parking. This particular unit does not allow you access to the garage. So, if you have more than two cars, you're outta luck. Moreover, the spots are tight and not clearly marked and, when there's a lot of snow, the maneuverability is limited in the driveway.

Great for 2 families

We stayed at this property in December 2017. It's a very comfortable place - not luxurious and the decor is dated, but clean and perfectly comfortable. Worked great for our group - we had 4 adults and 4 kids. The kids stayed in the bunk room which has 2 bunks (4 beds). It's on the second floor of the place along with the kitchen and living room. There's a bathroom across the hall from the bedroom. The adults stayed in the bedrooms downstairs. There's a bathroom downstairs which can be accessed from the hall and from the master bedroom. The master has a sink in it, so it makes it kind of like a jack and jill set up though the other bedroom does not have direct access to the bathroom (it's off of the hall). We used the pellet stove which really heated the place up and each of the bedrooms has a wall heater which were very effective. The place is right across from the pool and hot tub. We used the hot tub several times - it's a good size - big enough for 10-15 people comfortably. We skied at Mammoth. It's a 15 minute drive to the Main Lodge. We didn't try to use the shuttle. There wasn't any information in the condo about how to use it and we didn't really want to wait outside in the cold any way. There is space for 2 cars outside the unit.

Awesome place for trip with friends!

I am so pleased with this rental! 8 friends and I rented it for a weekend of skiing and it was absolutely perfect for us. It was clean, comfy, and conveniently located (right by grocery store, close to bars/restaurants, less than 10 min from mountain). We will definitely be back.

Home away from home

Our group of 9 enjoyed the condo very much. The kitchen is well stocked with more than enough bowls and plates and cookware. We love the dishwasher! The appliances are all well maintained and of good quality. In fact, everything that is provided, bedding, towels etc, they are all good quality stuff, really appreciate the owner's thoughtfulness to make the guests feel at home. There were enough garbage bags and paper towels for our stay.The only thing that was unsatisfactory was the sofa bed in the living room. It's lumpy and worn out.We would come back in a heartbeat - if the weather is nice. Since there are only outdoor parking, digging the cars out every morning took quite a bit of time, but that's just our luck to have two consecutive non-stop snowing days. The property manager was very responsive and helpful to help us when our supposedly 4-wheel drive SUV rental got stuck. Thank you!

Chateau De Montagne #15

It is a good unit with views of the pool and great breezes. A bit of a funky layout with bunk beds in the upstairs "master" and queen beds in the rooms downstairs. The kitchen is great and the tv perfect size. Nice deck and a patio out of lower bedroom. I'd pick this unit again.
