Pine Ridge Miniature Donkeys is a boutique farm of 25 acres nestled in the beautiful Southern Highlands. We host farm stays and breed Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys. We have a menagerie of animals that we love dearly: donkeys, alpacas, goats, pigs and chickens.

The house has two guest bedrooms with own bathrooms and toilet. These bedrooms are located in Arthur & Karin's house. The living area, patios and kitchen are shared.

The property has a bush walk, dam with kayak, fishing possibilities and very friendly animals that love to have cuddles and be fed.

Wonderful Farm stay

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful farm. The animals were fantastic, we had the opportunity to feed them and even ride along in the tractor, which both we're great experiences especially for the kids! Arthur and Karin, the owners, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We had a very relaxing time and also had the chance to explore the lovely surroundings with a trip to water falls and the Australien Wildlife sanctuary. Our stay here was a highlight of our time in Australia. Highly recommended!

Perfect farm getaway

Quiet, peaceful and comfortable beds. The absolute highlight was my kids feeding the animals. So much fun and Karen was so patient. Can't wait to stay again.

A relaxing stay

Karin and Arthur were incredibly welcoming and generous with their time. It was wonderful to be able to spend time with the animals, which we loved. We stayed in a room in their home, which was clean and tidy. The home was lovely to.

Southernhighland magic

Awesome stay in property. Great hosts, must have rare experience to spend time with Alpeca, Donkeys, Goats , chickens and Tobby [the dog]. Location is so beautifull , its hard to describe in words and night skys are amazing to watch full of stars. The hosts are amazing and its so good to know there passion of building this farm and how much they love to be here. Always available to help you , property tour and amazing breakfast in lap of nature. Go woth family or friends and enjoy the amazing timw with nature.

Friendly farmstay with the cutest donkeys!

This relaxed and friendly farmstay is perfect for adults and kids alike. We loved the farm tour, feeding the animals, and meeting the beautiful animal babies. Our hosts were very accommodating and understanding (even when our four-year-old wet the bed!). The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the fresh bread and eggs for breakfast were very much appreciated. We'll be back!

Wonderful experience

It’s a wonderful property with alpacas, goats, donkeys, pigs, chickens and lovely dogs. We’re a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids, aged 2 and 4), it was our first experience in a shared accomodation and we had a great time! The house is spacious and comfortable, and the hosts Karin and Arthur are lovely. We had bread baked for us and fresh eggs every day. We also had the opportunity to feed the animals every morning which needless to say was an amazing experience for all of us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Remote and difficult to find.

The property would probably be ideal for anyone who enjoys staying in and sharing another person's home. We expected to have a private area where we could sleep, sit and possibly watch television, separate from those living there. Our bedroom consisted three beds, one unmade and one pushed up against the wardrobe with pillow end into the room. Nowhere to sit, no tv., no bedside table or lamp, no handtowels. We were obviously expected to join the hosts in their living room (no tv) and kitchen. They were not very welcoming and made no effort to show us around. It was a huge disappointment and when we drove into town and failed to find anywhere to eat, we decided not to stay.

Great memories made

From the moment we arrived Karin and Arthur made is feel right at home. Arthur caught wind that it was our daughter's birthday and grabbed the guitar and sung her happy birthday. In the morning we were surprised with fresh baked bread. Karen kindly took us around the property, let us pat and feed the animals. Definite highlight was the two baby girl donkeys born whilst staying at the farm. Have never seen something so amazing in person, something I will never forget. My daughter (and us) can't wait to come back to stay again sometime in the future.

Ideal for short family getaway

Recently stayed at this property with my family (which included young children) and from the moment we arrived, Arthur and Karin were very gracious and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spotless and the property was located very close to Mittagong and Bowral. Our hosts were generous with their time and graciously allowed our kids to ‘help’ look after the animals. A fabulous time was had by all and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway with their kids.

Fantastic!

It's a lovely property. Karin and Arthur are very friendly and accommodating. They took the time to show us around, and teach about us about their animals and the farm. They even accommodated a some space in their fridge for the goodies i brought down from Sydney. The stay was comfortable with complete privacy. They even welcomed us with freshly baked bread and farm fresh eggs from their farm. The area is great, very quiet and close to local lookouts and food stores. Recommended!

Fantastic farm stay

What a lovely relaxing place to stay. We got a tour of the property and were able to feed and brush the animals. So entertaining watching the outdoor antics of the animals on the “bush television”. It was a beautiful surprise to wake up to the fresh eggs and fresh baked bread too. Hosts were super polite and friendly. I can highly recommend this property, all 3 generations of our family were super impressed. Thank you Karin & Arthur

Excellent place to stay, lovely people.

Was a guest at this property while visiting for a wedding. The hosts were truly lovely. The animals are looked after very well and they are very friendly. Overall it was an excellent experience.

A lovely stay

My fiance and I stayed here for a night and it was lovely. Arthur and Karin are lively people and their property is beautiful. The miniature donkeys are so cute as well. Would definitely recommend

Lovely property and hosts

Property was large, clean, comfortable and fun to stay at with lots of farm animals to meet and feed. Hosts were lovely, provided some fresh bread and condiments for breakfast which was a nice touch. Sharing with hosts was ok although sleeping in the next room to them was a little awkward, especially given no locks on bedroom doors. Property located 10 mins from shopping hub and restaurants.

excellent farm house with lovely animals around

short driving distance to towns, big and clean house, with lovely donkey, alpaca, new born baby lamb, pigs, hens and more. friendly host provide even organic eggs, tomatos, fresh home baked bread for breakfast. five star, and high recomended stay away accommodation option within one hour drive in south.
