No help

Requested detergent for laundry and was told they’d get us some, but to no avail. We were unable to use the washer dryer. All they had to do was tell us they don’t provide detergent and we would have bought our own. But they said t he’d get it for us and have it in the apartment when we came if for the evening. No joy. The location to the property is too close homeless and drugged out unconscious people on the street. This section of New Orleans is best described as a S…..show!

50th Birthday to Remember

We loved the location of the property and the ease of check in/checkout process. My sister and her husband complained about the noise in their room but I didn’t notice it at all. I slept very well. We enjoyed our stay here very much and we will try to book this on our next trip to New Orleans.

Horrible Experience With Sonder!!!!

Our experience with Sonder was terrible. Upon arriving at our unit, we immediately noticed that there was an issue with the air conditioning. That night, my friends and I could not sleep as it was very warm in the unit. The next morning, it became increasingly worse. I immediately contacted Sonder who advised that they would send a repairman asap. Despite being told that two different men would arrive that morning, a person finally appeared late afternoon. We received a response that the air conditioning unit was not going to be repaired and that we could be located to a different unit. We chose that option even though it was five blocks away. We gathered our belongings and traveled to the new unit. Upon arrival, it was filthy. It had not been cleaned from the prior tenants. We immediately contacted Sonder who were very difficult. Nonetheless, They finally promised to have it cleaned first thing the next morning but failed to do so. I had to call two different times and, during each call, they had no idea what I was talking about. We were finally told it had been cleaned and, upon arrival, there were still dirty bed sheets and dirty dishes. They then promised to send someone to change the sheets. Upon coming back to the unit, we discovered that they just dumped the bed sheets in the family room. We were then forced to change the sheets ourselves from the prior tenant. We are Very upset and dissatisfied! We had to cancel some of our plans to deal with these issues!!!

Spacious and super clean

We were delighted with our apartment at Vitascope while visiting NOLA. It was so clean, nicely furnished, spacious, and in an ideal central location of the French Quarter, only a block away from a trolley stop. Although the check-in process was rather tedious, it was well worth it. Our shower handle came off, but Sonder was out there and had it fixed within a couple hours. Overall, highly recommended!

Great Property

This apartment was beautiful and in a great central location to all the sights. That being said it was on a Main Street so take your ear plugs if you want to sleep. The biggest down fall was the key pad at the entrance to the building. Never did it work the first time, sometimes taking 5 or 6 try’s, sometime a person with a key came to our rescue. It was quite stressful at times. I would recommend this property highly, and with a more reliable entrance key pad would give it 5 stars
