Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken and the bed was far from comfortable. Would have been nice to be made aware of this before arriving so got little sleep which derailed the stay. Owner was pleasant but definitely not worth the money paid and disappointed with the stay

Ideally situated pleasant apartment.However no air-con for the duration of our 18 night stay at the cost of 3,735.50cand with little or no help from the owner,who was on one phone call the owner and on another call just a investor !!No mid stay clean or change of bedding !!!.Sadly will not be using this apartment again

Toilet was not cleaned ,no interim clean or clean sheets provided to change bed in a two week stay ,one key only ,couch filthy,dust under bed and couch ,bed uncomfortable, terrible pillows that were yellow when I removed pillow slips to wash,couldn't get stove to work mould in shower , generally needs a very deep clean and update

Brilliant location

Property while not remarkable was very clean and comfortable, fantastic pool that we used every day. But the clincher is the location, right in the centre of Macrossan St, very short walk to everything Port Douglas has to offer.

Tucked away, but close to everything.

Beautifully decorated unit, very comfortable and close to all shops and restaurants. We hired a rent a car but only used it to drive to and from Cairns airport as this place was so central we could walk everywhere. Also supplied was crockery, cutlery, microwave, hot plate, toaster and kettle which was very handy. Would not hesitate to stay again, loved Port Douglas.

Cleanliness

Overall impression was ok.. our apartment could have and should have been cleaner in regards to a dirty air conditioner, a stain on the wall in the bedroom and the bathroom exhaust fan being filthy and not working. The bedroom wall light didn't work.other than ghis our stay was enjoyable and the location was brilliant!

Smaller in Reality. Needs TLC & Maintenance

Place was really hard to find with navigation devices as visitors to Australia from the U.S. we went around the area multiple times to find where to go, that was a pain in the rain. Had to stop and ask locals where the heck it was. While the address is correct, some vital landmarks from the property owner would help. The place is on the third floor, not so easy with big luggage. The size of the apartment is smaller than the photos look, so snug is the word here. Door handle needed to be fixed on entering. It was hot and muggy outside when we arrived, so we turned the A/C lower, the unit in the bedroom started immediately dripping heavily onto the bedroom floor. Advised the landlord, and they had someone bring extra towels to put on floor. They said they called A/C repairman, but this unit dripped our entire stay, so we had to constantly swap towels and dry them on the patio. The dining table light was burnt out, so it was hard to read while sitting under the small table. They did have a good sized couch with many pillows. The kitchen needed some basic seasonings (only had salt) and no measuring cups or spoons if you wanted to cook. Bathroom was a bit bigger than the last place we were in, so that was a plus. However, we were also visited day and night by cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom, so pest control was lacking, a major negative. This place seemed to be lacking in some attention and care, and that affected our value perception and rating.

The Perfect Getaway

This place has been immaculately renovated and is very stylish. It's right in the centre of town, yet perfectly private and quiet. An Ideal place for a couple and outstanding value. Ronite went above and beyond for us and is a great lady. I'd love to go back some time soon.
