Nestled in the beautiful New Zealand bush this intimate classic Kiwi bach is one of a kind.
The surf is 3 minutes away, spend time relaxing, listen to the birdsong, long walks on the beach or soak in the outdoor bath gazing at the night sky.

Within walking distance you will find a craft shop and gallery, op shop, and museum.
Just a short drive away you will find the local tavern, cafe, dairy and swimming pool (in the summer)

A great place to relax after walking the Old Ghost Road or many of the short walks in the area.

Granity is a great base to explore what northern Buller has to offer.

Sleep out is the third room at the bottom of the garden with a fold out bed, seating and beanbags.

Great stay loved the place, had half rain half shine weather great covered outdoor areas for cooking/ living even in wet!Trains and road were super close but not a problem.

Excellent Holiday Cottage

We had a great time staying in Granity. It's a lovely little cottage with a cosy fire, the roar of the sea, and not far down the road from some great attractions. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Relaxing stay in Granity

We had a lovely stay in Granity. The house was lovely, clean and tidy. Had a bit of rain while there, so the covered outdoor areas where fantastic. Outdoor bath was great too.

Cute bach

We had the most restful stay in this cute retro bach. Everything we needed was provided. Adored the outdoor fire and bath. The covered outdoor eating area was perfect for rainy day dining. Extremely cosy indoors with fire. Even managed a wave from the train driver passing by!!!!!Highly recommend for a getaway.

Characterful comfortable bach

Pretty much as expected and we enjoyed our stay very much. Loved the proximity to the beach. Trains were more frequent than advised but they did not trouble us. The resident weka was a plus. Would recommend this property for a delightful whimsical West Coast stay.

Cozy getaway

A wonderful few nights in this warm, charmingly rustic and delightful West Coast bach. Very nice landscaping around the place. A well appointed kitchen and just a few minutes stroll to the beach. Hightlights for our group included the dramatic coal train rumbling passed just outside the back door and arriving on a blustery, cold afternoon to find the fire place set, all ready to be lit.

Romantic Staycation

Lovely quiet and peaceful. Was just right for a Valentine’s surprise. This place gives you a warm hug when you first walk in the door and when you leave. Comfortable bed with lovely sheeting, smart tv was great entertainment.The out door bath is wonderful for relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back only a 2 hour drive from home on the wonderful coast road.

Great Kiwi bach with awesome details. Quiet, private with everthing we needed right down to the umbrellas by the back door (which weren't required as we had stunning weather)
