New two bedroom home

This newly built sunny comfortable 2 bedroom home. Great location. Close to village centre. A nice modern house with a fresh vibe. Ideal for small groups and families.

The kitchen, dining and living area has been designed with guest entertainment in mind with open plan living. The kitchen is equipped with brand new modern appliances including dishwasher, microwave and amenities, with breakfast bar and stools. The dining area has heat & aircon pump and a sliding which opens right up and offers guest interaction with the outdoor deck.

A cosy lounge area to relax, watch tv or play board games. Sliding doors to open on warm summer days and take in the fresh mountain air.

Make the most of the outdoor deck area, also roofed with inbuilt lighting a great space to enjoy a drink, entertain and unwind, star gaze at night.

The bedrooms have been given much love and attention. Beds are comfortable with ample pillows. Freshly - laundered, matching linens towels and face cloths are supplied to ensure guest hygiene. The decor is homely and inviting for a peaceful nights sleep. All bedrooms have side tables and lamps.

The bathrooms are equipped with all your needs, showers only. including heated towel rail. The hairdryer is located in the bathroom.

Laundry with wash basin and washing machine, washing powder supplied.

Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Shampoo and body wash. Hand soap and also face wipes for makeup removal. ( please do not use face cloths for make up removal )

High chair & Port-a-cot available ( on request ) free of charge ( please let us know if port-a-cot is required so we can set it up for your stay as it not stored in home )

Wifi is also provided for your convenience.

Very clean two-bedroom home in a quiet street. We slept deep sleeps here, no street lights to keep us awake. The house had two lounge areas, one set up as a TV room with a door and the other off the kitchen. Lots of space to spread out luggage in the living areas. We appreciated the little touches like intricately folded towels, milk in the fridge and coffee pods in the pantry, as well as the Eco store products in bathroom and kitchen. The house backs on to a natural area of bullrushes and purple flowers, so no close neighbours at the back which gives you a feeling of space. Two minutes' drive to the shops, restaurants and lake, we'd definitely stay again.

We stayed two nights in October. The space is modern and extremely convenient to Tekapo town, being a 2-3 minute drive to the lakefront and restaurants. Our stay was comfortable and we really appreciated the view of the mountains and the night sky (on a clear night, it’s phenomenal). The rooms are well equipped and comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked (though could do with more of the basics, like extra plates, cutlery etc to make the stay easier). We’d recommend the home to small families, couples or solo travellers visiting Tekapo.

Excellent Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Clean, large and well suited for 3 adults. The town of Lake Tekapo is very small so everything was very convenient from the property.

Wonderful Stay

The house was clean and well stocked and the location was great, within walking distance of some shopping and restaurants. We also enjoyed the views of the mountains from the front window and back deck!

Lovely comfortable stay

Perfect property for a Tekapo getaway

This was a comfortable, modern, clean and well located property for our three night break. Loved that we could walk into Tekapo for cafes and local activities and walks but was also great for access to Twizel, Aoraki etc. The property was warm and cozy (thanks for putting on the heat pump for our arrival) and perfect for our stay.

Great location and relaxing house

We really enjoyed staying this house. We came back from Wanaka so it was great relaxing place and good walking distance to the shop. Everything were so lovely, modan house and kids friendly. Gave us all supplies what we need and made us feel at home.

Nice well equipped house

Nice house to stay comfortably for a couple of days at lake tekapo. Close to everything and clean. The host was very accomodating to all our requests and had thought of almost everything required for a family. Will definitely return. Addition of laundry facilities would have been amazing.

Convenient, peaceful stay in Lake Tekapo

This property was perfect for my 3 night stay. The home is very spacious with an incredible amount of natural light. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The Wi-Fi worked great for 3 devices. Private parking, private deck, and very quiet. The owner was always responsive. Highly recommend!!

Great place, all very new. Only downside would be only 4 plates, glasses, bowls, knives, forks etc. Therefore having to continually wash dishes.

Clean well located house

Relatively new house that suited our needs. Has all the facilities we needed. Front stairs and banister need repair as they are dangerous. The house appears to be rented before some minor parts of the house are finished.

Road trip

Had a great time in this lovely house on our south island roadie, fab location in a quiet area a stones throw from town, there was really quick response from the owner when we had a question. A bit of information would have made the stay perfect such as what is recycled, how to use the TV, anything that needed doing prior to leaving etc however it is such a minor quibble in a 5* review, thanks for letting us stay in your great house!

New, but not quite finished

Lake Tekapo has a ton of new development, of which this rental is one. Its all new construction, very modern in style and very clean. There are a few things that still seem unfinished though. There are some temporary stairs at the front that didn't seem solid, and no steps up to the front deck. There is a hookup for a dryer (which would have been nice) but there isn't one installed. Somewhat odd furnishing choices inside with two different couch-appointed spaces but only a few metal stools at the counter if you want to have a meal. The kitchen has the bare minimum, with just service for 4 and a tiny selection of cookware. There are two large decks but not a stick of furnishings to be had there either. Its in a convenient location, up the hill enough to be in a quiet residential setting but a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk down to the shops and restaurants. Between the location, ample space, and clean new rooms and furnishings it could be very nice with just a bit of finishing touches.
