Warm and inviting Large Log Cabin , privately nestled in the Heart of Hockley Valley and situated across from the Nottawasaga River. Cabin Features 5 Bedroom’s and 4 bathrooms. Equipped with all season amenities, Hot Tub, waterfall pool, Large Bon Fire pit (wood supplied) BBQ, and propane provided , Close to many quaint restaurants , 1 minute drive to Hockley golf , ski , and Adamo Winery!! and walking distance for Hiking Bruce Trail system. As an extra plus for tennis enthusiasts , we can provide guest passes at our Mono tennis courts for your use. Home features a Massive stone fireplace floor to cathedral ceiling, original Pine plank floors, modern kitchen open concept, Large sun room, with large screen TV, and cozy game room pub. We have table tennis in the in the basement for added indoor fun !! We are available for winter 3-4 month rentals as well , please inquire if interested, as price will be per month. Dogs are Welcomed !

We just had the most amazing magical week celebrating the new year at The Hockley Hideaway! Kelly was always quick to respond to any question. The cabin was beautifully decorated and very festive. Tons of amenities and lovely setting. Close to hiking, skiing and wonderful restaurants! We can’t wait to visit again!
Cozy fires all day long!

We have stayed at dozens of vacation rentals around the world and this was our favorite, by far. The entire stay is magical from the moment you pull into the driveway. It's hard to put into words, but it is one of the most charming homes we have ever seen---inside and outside--and combined with the incredible pool, hot tub, and other outdoor activities (a gorgeous stream that you can hear from the yard!), we will for sure be back. If you're lucky, you'll get snow with us--being able to not only use the hot tub, but also the heated pool, during two days of a gorgeous snowfall was an experience we'll never forget.

For once the pictures didn’t do the property justice. It is better. All the the little touches were there and the pride of ownership and them wanting your stay to be a good one was clearly evident.

Everything you could ever want and more ! Super cozy while still being open so whole family can interact . Pool is beautiful . Photos don’t do it justice . The grounds are immaculate. Strolling around with my morning tea was very relaxing. We would love to come back !

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property. It’s 100000 out of 10. The house is absolutely amazing. Inside and out. The host Kelly is so kind and always very prompt to respond to any inquiries. The beds are heaven! The pool area is any families dream spot! I really can’t say enough about this place. We cannot wait to be back next summer!!!!! Thank you for having us!!!

Best time ever!!!

My family and I had the BEST time at Kelly and Greg’s place. The property is magnificent. So spacious and well-appointed. Every detail has been considered - ample pool towels; fresh flowers, chocolates and wine upon arrival. It felt like our own private resort. Kelly and Greg are SO welcoming. I wish their place was MY home! We highly recommend this vacation spot. Just awesome!

A wonderful getaway destination

This property is simply fabulous: the house itself is spacious with beautiful appointments and art throughout. With five bedrooms and spacious common areas, this property can easily accommodate your party. The exterior amenities and pool areas are very impressive and offer a range of outdoor activities.The hosts Kelly and Greg are readily available to help with any issues that might arise. That said, we did not run into any problems.Recommended without any hesitation.L&M

From the moment we arrived, this vacation rental exceeded every expectation. Nestled in a peaceful and scenic location, the property was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing stay.The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing clear instructions and even leaving flowers and treats and a handwritten note. It was such a warm touch that made us feel right at home.The interior was spacious, rustic, and spotless, with cozy furnishings and high-end appliances. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the linens felt luxurious. We especially loved all of the private patios - especially the one with a hot tub —it became our favourite spot to unwind each evening.What truly set this rental apart was the attention to detail. From board games and books and toiletries, every element was curated with care. It felt like staying at a boutique hotel with the comfort of home.We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return. Special Family Mini Vacation

We are very pleased that we found this beautiful vacation property. It nicely fit our requirements: dog friendly, a pool and space for all of us. It is such a comfortable oasis. We felt like we were at our own private resort. There is lots of space to gather or spread out inside or outside. We spent a lot of our time at the wonderful unique pool. Most of us never left the property during our stay. We are all looking forward to returning next year.

Far exceeded expectations

Beautiful home, with lots of indoor and outdoor seating areas for our family to visit. The kids (and adults) were hardly ever out of the pool. Quiet neighbourhood, lush gardens, and an exquisitely maintained log home. We all loved it!

Family get away

Lovely property and home that has all the extras you could wish for . The hosts are very helpful and welcoming . The pool and hot tub are 10 plus and very well appointed. This is our second family get away there and we hope to return again very soon. It is perfection.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! This is a very special home filled with character, history and lots of love. Kelly is a wonderful host who was accessible and provided great activity and dining suggestions. We arrived to a sweet note, snacks, wine and fresh cut flowers in every room. The beds were very comfortable, linens were new, hot tub and pool very clean, her gardens are beautiful, amazing fire pit area and lots of fun lawn games in the pool house. We can’t wait to visit again and we were sad to leave. Thank you Kelly!!

Celebrating 34 Years!

Our book club of 10 women had a superb time at this Hockley Valley Hideaway. The cabin/house is very well appointed and has lots of different spaces to allow for both privacy and group activities. Fresh lilacs in each room was a very special touch. Towels were abundant and of good quality. The architecture of the house is special and each room is well furnished. 4 bathrooms worked very well for the 10 of us. The property is beautifully landscaped with different seating areas and views. It was cool so we had no May bugs, yet warm enough for a quick swim and a longer stay in the hot tub. We cooked all our meals and wanted for nothing in terms of pots, utensils, crockery and glassware. Everything was at hand. Having an additional "drinks fridge" meant our large group had lots of room for our food in the main fridge. Speaking of close at hand, Kelly is an exceptional host, answering questions promptly and with patience and even popping over to take a group photo for us!While there's lots to explore within minutes of the house (Bruce Trail loop hike, pottery shop, general store etc.), sticking close to "home" was also fun. Given the weather the fireplace was a huge hit as was the long dining table that easily accommodated 10. If possible, this place is even nicer than the online photos. It was the perfect spot for our special celebration and we hope to return again to this lovely spot.

PERFECT RETREAT

We couldn't have chosen a better place to have our women's retreat! Quiet but convenient location, spacious yet still cozy, chock full of amenities, cooks kitchen etc ample room to eat, gather, relax, or have personal space and even room to dance around and do yoga, etc. We only wish the weather was a bit better to enjoy more of the outdoor amenities. But what a great place to be on the few chilly days that we had up there. We would definitely book again. THX (to our very responsive) HOSTS!

Hockley valley cottage

Our hockley valley winter getaway was lovely. The cottage was clean, charming and cozy. The host even welcomed our pups ! Every room was well equipped and our linens and towels were fresh. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor space. Ski was minutes away. We highly recommend and will be back ;) Thank you so much for being such a great host!

A True Treasure

This property and location is the perfect place to stay as gorgeous inside as it is out. We and our two dogs were more than comfortable and hope to return again soon.

The host Kelly and the property made our stay the most enjoyable one on our 26th friends anniversary

I can’t explain enough the beauty of this place with everything you need. No worries! Made the planning experience so easy. We ALL just kept saying can you believe its so perfect why would we want to go anywhere else but here next year. Another booking might be made soon. We used the pool, hot tub, played games, Restaurant, fire on last night, some hiked for 2 hours, even relaxed! There was not one thing that could have been any better.

Great Pool, Nice House, Lots of Privacy

We were there for three weeks and it was a wonderful place to kick back and relax with family. Really nice pool oasis. Lots to do in the area and some great restaurants nearby. The hosts were nearby and available as needed.

Wedding party!

I got married close by and rented this house for myself and my bridesmaids and it was the most beautiful property and house. It made for a stunning photo backdrop for my special day. Kelly was amazing. She keeps the house perfect, she had a beautiful card, charcuterie board, and Prosecco for us when we checked in and she was so lovely. Highly recommend!
