We had a great time with our family! The house was very clean and had plenty of things to keep our toddler busy. Would definitely consider coming back another time.

Mixed reviews

We have mixed reviews about our stay here. The property itself is well laid out, situated in a great location to travel to surrounding areas, and the neighborhood was quiet. Upon arrival or entrance code didn’t work and even though it was 2 AM we were able to get a hold of the manager within 15 minutes to enter the property. They were again very responsive when we mixed up our departure days. It was the overall cleanliness of the home that impacted our review. I expressed concerns to the home manager and hopefully those issues will be resolved for the next renter. We are in the rental business as well, and if I had known one of my guests had entered my rental in this appearance, I would have instantly given a refund of some nature without them asking.

Ghosted by Management

The property was and the home is lovely. The location isn't the best, but not far from Manasota Key, which is beautiful. Our problem was we were interrupted 3 times by workers. We were not given any warning they were coming. The first was the pool man who simply walked into the backyard and cleaned the pool. Not a huge deal, but at 7 or 8 in the morning, unannounced, when you are in the kitchen in your pjs or less and a man is on the other side of all the naked windows, is disturbing. The next day there were workers building a fence for the neighbors all day. Again, these men were right outside the kitchen/dining room windows. We know this because we were housebound due to rain. The final and strangest invasion was a man showed up at 5:20 pm knocked on the door and immediately turned the door handle. We were sitting a couple of feet from the door, and he would have walked right in the living room if the door hadn't had been locked. He said he was there to work on the gutters. Again, it's 5:20 pm. He asked if we had a ladder he could use. Weird!! Come prepared, come at a decent working hour, and most importantly, have the management warn the guests you're coming!!!! He was there, in the dark, cleaning the gutters until 8:00pm. We couldn't shower or get ready for bed because there are windows without coverings, and we had no idea where he was in the dark. This was such an inconvenience for us!! I contacted management, Roelens, to speak to them about these issues and no one has gotten back to me. I asked for a monetary compensation and all I get is silence. We jumped through lots of email hurdles with this company in order to book this property. We were compliant with all they asked, and we are getting nothing from them in return. We were told someone from the company would contact us within 24 hours of our arrival to check in and we never heard from them. We opened a door the first night we arrived and a piercing alarm went off. I was certain the police would arrive and we would be in trouble somehow. We had to take the battery out of the alarm to shut it off. I believe these door alarms are in place in case little ones try to get out to the pool. However, there was NOTHING written in the book of instructions about these alarms. I'm just angry that they won't talk to me/us. We paid a lot of money for this place and we respected all their rules and answered all their emails. They could have shown us the same respect but didn't. Beware!!!!!!
