Half-Moon Casa - 100m from the waterfront

Welcome to the Half-Moon Casa
The property is located one street from the waterfront. It is newly painted and furnished, with a living area and an open plan kitchen/dining area. It has a fully working kitchen including dishwasher and coffee machine. Basic cleaning and food staples are available.

In summer there is an air conditioner located in the dining area and in winter, ducted heating.

The Half-Moon Casa can accommodate up to 6 people.
Bedroom 1 - Queen bed
Bedroom 2 - Double bed
Bedroom 3 - 2 x Single beds.

A BBQ and generous outdoor living area is just a step out the backdoor. The house is located on a large block that can fit a boat if you are planning on doing some fishing, and there are ample taps to wash your boat down after a day on the bay/ocean. The drive way can fit 2 cars behind the secure gate, and also another 2 outside the gate.

Portarlington is accessible from Melbourne by the Ferry. The ferry will drop you off at the Pier which is 2.4 kms from Half-Moon Casa.

Half Moon Casa is located in a quiet area of Portalington, just a short stroll to the water front. This property is tucked away in a peaceful suburban street, depicting a home away from home, while giving you the luxuries of actually being on holiday.
Portarlington is a beautiful, quaint bay town. Half-moon Casa offers the best location, which is only a 4 minute drive from the town's main centre, with a range of restaurants, cafes, local stores and boutiques. There is a path along the waterfront that you can walk into town on a leisurely stroll, or just bring your bikes for a quick bike ride.
There are many wineries in the area, and you can tour these wineries following the Bellarine Taste Trail. Or if you are happy with one, you can go to the Bellarine Winery which is a short 10 minute drive away.
If you have a love of Golf, the Portarlington Golf Course is only located 1.3 kms away (2 minute drive) from the property. There is also a Bistro at the Club if you wanted to get a bite to eat, the food is lovely, but you will need to book a table.

Loved our stay

Lovely, spacious place in an amazing location. 5mins walk to the beach and playground which kept the kids happy and an enjoyable stroll along the water to the main street.

Ideal place for a break

A home base for the National Celtic folk festival

The house is located in a quiet street about a five minute drive from the festival site. It was clean and had all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious enough for four adults and two kids to relax in

Family Get Away

House was lovely and clean and smelt amazing, when we arrived. Really big dining /kitchen which was great as we are a big family. Basics were supplied, tea coffee, soap powder, basic spreads, kids' games. Extra's provided Wi-Fi ! Location handy to everything... Highly recommend.

Very neat. The host left many little extras which made the stay nice. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our cars fitted neatly into the driveway.

Great for families

Fantastic location with only a short walk to a beach suitable for little ones. Spacious house with big rooms and a great under cover outdoor area and secure backyard. Easy to keep clean with no carpet to worry about. Everything you need in the kitchen and a quiet street. Overall, a very relaxing holiday. Highly recommended.

Very clean and tidy. Everything we needed. House could be cooled down quickly - the weather was so hot. Quiet street . We were all very satisfied with the setup. Very happy with it all!

Amazing quiet retreat

Could not be a better experience all round. The booking and checkin process was seamless, and the house was even better in the flesh than in the pics…..which were already excellent! The kitchen was very well appointed, the bathroom, toilet and backyard were all very functional and a great size, and the beds were super comfy. Communication with our gracious host Fiona were very courteous and professional, and the location - close to a park and the beach - was just what we needed. The coastal walk to town, in beautiful sunshine, was definitely a highlight of the location as well. Could not recommend this stay more highly - thank you so much!!

Lovely Weekend Getaway

My husband and teenage daughter had a great stay. My husband took his boat and went fishing. The property was well equipped to make a fisherman happy. A place to clean the catch, lockable gate for boat storage and a readily accessible hose for cleaning the boat. We enjoyed walking along the beach into town to shop for our meals. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing, cooking and cleaning up. Will definitely keep this listing in my favourites.

Attention to detail, unmatched!

Upon arriving, the property and house were very clean and tidy. The location was great. What made this rental stand out for us was the attention to detail. Everything we needed (with a 6 & 9 year old) was there. Excess of cleaning products, laundry, kitchen etc.. A stocked pantry with essentials and a few extras (GF Crackers & more) A stocked bathroom with body product including a family size sun block and moisturizer. We bring a lot of these products wherever we stay, but sometimes forgets items. Half moon casa, covered us for one or two of those forgotten items.
