Amplio Log Cabin con expansivas vistas de montaña, National Forest

¡Un gran escape para ti, familia y amigos! Hermosa cabaña de troncos de 3 dormitorios ubicada en más de 35 acres con amplias vistas a la montaña desde cubiertas envolventes. Aproximadamente a 20 minutos del Royal George, rafting y muchas actividades al aire libre. Una escapada aislada para relajarse y disfrutar de las hermosas Montañas Rocosas. Wifi, buen servicio celular.

Tres habitaciones en dos niveles. Planta principal tiene dormitorio principal, baño. El piso superior tiene dos dormitorios (dos camas queen y una cama completa), un altillo con un futón reina (muy cómodo) y un baño completo. La terraza es un excelente lugar para comer, pasar el rato y ver los hermosos amaneceres en Pikes Peak. TV y reproductor de DVD están en el nivel principal con acceso a Netflix / AmazonPrime / etc y DVD para toda la familia.

La cocina está completamente amueblada para su disfrute: cafetera, microondas, horno / estufa, lavavajillas, batidora manual, etc. La sala de estar con chimenea está amueblada con sofás de cuero y TV / DVD. Juegos / rompecabezas / libros están a la mano. La casa se calienta con una chimenea de leña (madera incluida) y calefacción suplementaria por calefacción central.

Una parrilla de gas está disponible para asar a la parrilla y el garaje es un excelente lugar para guardar el automóvil.

Fácil acceso a Royal Gorge, rafting, tirolina, Pike y San Isabel National Forests para practicar senderismo, ATVing, caza, pesca. Toneladas de vida salvaje y paisajes impresionantes. Una gran escapada familiar. Una oportunidad de escapar del ajetreo y el bullicio de la ciudad. O, una cómoda cabaña de esquí / caza.

Best family vacation yet

A week on the mountains with sunrise coffee and a view of the sunrise is the start that every day needs! Then ending the day with a beautiful view of the sunset to the west. The cabin was fantastic and we’ll be back for sure.

We booked this cabin for a month stay & truly excited to spend time in such a beautiful, peaceful setting. The home itself is stunning—spacious, comfortable, and exactly as pictured, with breathtaking views of the mountains and surrounding wilderness. The nearby town is also incredibly charming, locals are kind & welcoming, making our short time special.Unfortunately, after five days, we began experiencing severe altitude sickness, something unanticipated, our first time staying at 9,300 ft. We had to leave the property & relocate to a lower elevation.Understand this may not affect all guests, but for those unfamiliar with higher altitudes—it’s important to know. A lesson learned for us.Scott responded to our concerns and refunded half of our stay, which we appreciated. His communication was welcoming and helpful, and the home was exceptionally well-equipped—truly the most equipped vacation rental we’ve stayed in across Australia, Europe, & the U.S.Honestly, when we first arrived, we were already thinking of extending our stay or coming back in the winter. We could see ourselves living in such a beautiful place and had even begun looking at properties in the area. So having to leave was genuinely disappointing.We’d absolutely recommend this cabin for those already acclimated or comfortable with higher elevations—as it is truly heaven in the clouds.

Great luxurious retreat

After breaking down with our motorhome we had to come up with a short notice alternative plan. How lucky we were to have found Scott’s cabin via VRBO. What started with a desaster turned in to a wonderful vacation for the whole family. Scott was so nice and allowed us to use the canin the very same day we booked. Great location, very nice host. We would repeat in a heartbeat.

Solitude in the mountains

We enjoyed our coffee each morning in the mountains with only the birds singing and listening to the pines as the morning breeze passed through. No highway noise, no barking dogs, no neighbors....just nature. A great opportunity to unwind and relax. The location also provided an opportunity to be with a couple hours drive from Colorado Springs, Canon City, Breckinridge, Fairplay and Buena Vista.

Mountain cabin

Unbelievable view. The cabin was well furnished, and had all the cooking utensil s., like home. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. This is the second time we have stayed here, and we are always excited to come back. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Peaceful secluded cabin with amazing views

We loved our stay at this cabin! So quiet and peaceful outside, with amazing mountain views, including being able to see Pikes Peak from the property. The sunrises here are especially incredible! We saw a variety of wildlife, such as deer, hummingbirds, chipmunks, rabbits, Steller's Jay, magpies, and others! You have to get up early if you really want to see them! There is also an abundant variety of plant life outside, such as: cacti, the trees, and a variety of beautiful wildflowers on the property. We loved exploring the property with our kids! Inside, the cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of seating at the table and in the living room area for our family of five. The location is somewhat remote, so if you own to see more places in Colorado, like Pikes Peak/Colorado Springs, Royal Gorge, etc., there is a decent amount of driving involved. However, being able to go back to the cabin and unwind in peace without the hustle and bustle of city life was completely worth the extra driving - plus you have incredible views on the drive! We would highly recommend this cabin to others, and hope to stay here again in the future!

This home was amazing. Had all that you could need. So spacious inside and the views were fantastic.

Our host Scott was very responsive to all our inquiries before our trip and that made it so much more easy to plan for anything we might have needed. However, the house had plenty and we didn't have to bring anything but ourselves and enjoyed the whole time there. Was amazing.

Peaceful place away from it all!

The property was just as described in the rental listing. Well stocked and clean. Plenty of space for everyone. They owners were great with communication and information about the rental. This is the perfect quiet spot if you need a place to unwind, and enjoy nature. We went into Guffey to eat breakfast at the bakery a few times and enjoyed the company there. Canon City is a short drive away for all you would need. We visited several places in the area (day trips) but enjoyed all our evenings/nights at the house, grilling, star gazing, and warming up with a fire in the fire place. When we are in the area again, we will most definitely stay here!!

Great get away

Wonderful, nicely stocked cabin. We really enjoyed our time here. Day trips to Breckenridge and Salida were both enjoyable. The cabin is remote which was exactly what we were expecting but it was also pretty easy to get to. Several deer / elk sightings. Many pleasant walks around the property. Summer likely has many more nearby activities. We'd love to come back. Thanks!

Located on 35+ acres with expansive mountain views, including Pikes Peak. Access to many activities including the Royal Gorge, rafting, zip-lining, hiking, ATVing, fishing, hunting, hot springs, and fun towns such as Leadville, Cripple Creek, Buena Vista, Salida, Canon City, Breckenridge, etc. Lots and lots to do, or just relax and enjoy the views and sun.

Abundant scenery and wildlife: humming birds to elk, deer and antelope.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

In the Banana Belt, a warm region of the Colorado Rockies, but with access to skiing (Monarch, Breckenridge, Leadville, etc.). Winters are typically warmer that surrounding areas and summers are absolutely beautiful. Two ponds located within a mile or two of house are available for fishing and larger lakes/reservoirs are in driving distance. Lots of wildlife in and around property. Easy access to ATV/4-wheel trails, hiking and water activities.

Use it as a family getaway, or a chance to escape the bustle of city life.
