Lakeside Getaway

We are pleased to offer our modern two bedroom, two bath, Basement suite for rent.

Please note, The suite is accessed via an outer staircase.

Discounted rates for Snow bird stays.

We have prepared the suite for both indoor and out door living. The kitchen, living room share a large island for entertaining and enjoying meals. A covered in patio area allows for the summer breezes to blow through the patio, but keeps you out of the direct sun. Or you can enjoy the sun on a small deck or on the grass in front of the suite. Our suite also offers easy access to the lake front beach and pool areas.

Our suite is located on Lake Osoyoos in the heart of vineyard country with many wineries within a 20minute drive, including the Oliver Golden Mile of wineries.

We are central to a number of golf courses in the Osoyoos/Oliver areas.

For the bikers we are right alongside the Grandfondo routes to follow or there are many kilometers of road way to enjoy and explore.

Mount Baldy's ski hills and cross country ski trails are only a 30 minute drive away.

Boat slip rental available with suite booking.

For the snow birds we can provide specialized winter rates.

Loved our stay!

We were very happy with our stay! Beautiful, clean, spacious unit that was well appointed and very quiet. The owners Russ and Vonnie were friendly and extremely accommodating. We would love to return next year!

We stayed 1 week for a family vacation and this complex is amazing and the suite was just perfect. Tons of room and had everything we needed and more. Owners are very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway location

Chose location for its lovely amenities and access to beach as well as numerous wineries and golf. Great location between Osoyoos and Oliver Suite had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also had a great living space with lots of comfortable seating. Bonus use of golf cart for quick access to pool and beach. Hosts very lovely with responsive communication.

It is an interesting and pleasing development. A little out of the way but that is why it is very quite. Walking paths, pools and play stuctures gives everyone opportunities to be active.

Enjoyable Stay with a Few Considerations

My wife, child, and I initially planned a week-long stay in the ground floor suite of this cottage in early October. Russ was incredibly flexible when we discovered that the complex pools would close on our arrival day. He accommodated our need to cut our stay short. The cottage complex itself is fantastic, boasting 2 pools & hot tubs, a private sand beach with a boat launch, and proximity to top wineries. A highlight was Platinum Bench, offering pairing of excellent wine and delightful artisanal bread with unique flavours, a must-try! The cottage’s ground floor suite had a well-thought-out layout and a lovely view of the lake. While we enjoyed the bunk bed for our child, we wished the master bedroom had a king-size bed instead of a queen. Adjusting the temperature required texting Russ, though his responsiveness was quick. It would have been more convenient if each room had its own temperature control. The most significant drawback was the soundproofing. Despite having considerate neighbors above, we could hear every step, chair movement, and even objects falling. This significantly impacted the tranquility of our stay. In summary, the cottage complex offers excellent amenities, location, and a responsive host in Russ. While the cottage itself was clean and well-equipped, the lack of individual temperature control and substantial soundproofing concerns were notable drawbacks. Consider this if you prioritize a restful and peaceful atmosphere during your stay.

Great time at the cottages

Have been coming to the cottages yearly, and this was the perfect spot to get away from it all. Amenities were great as usual, and appreciated the timely communication from Russ throughout our stay.

Cottages at Osoyoos Lake

Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay at this location. The owner was very pleasant and made our stay stress free. Very quiet and peaceful when no one is staying upstairs. Amenities were excellent with everything you need. Would not recommend staying here if there is someone staying upstairs. You can hear their footsteps and other activites.

Retreat into amazing!

Two parts to this: the place, and the owners. The place is excellent, modern, spacious, fully equipped, everything works, quiet, beautiful view, safe, not too far from groceries and activities, a rare opportunity to stay in an upscale resort community. The owners are also excellent, thoughtful, kind, generous, very engaged in making sure everything is right, comfortable, convenient and pleasant. This was the perfect retreat for us to relax and recuperate from busy lives. We hesitate to recommend it too highly because it might mean we’ll find it booked up the next time we want to stay there.
