The property was very clean and the air conditioning set for each room when we arrived. The house is huge, plenty of space for a large family gathering and the view is breath taking. We didn't spend much time in the pool as we were beach hoping. The hosts are very communicative, I'd give them a 10/10!

How sweet it is!

Overall the home is spacious. The views are amazing. The home sits directly across from the dolphin facility. We were able to see them being fed and trained almost daily. Amazing!The home is in a great location being close to Red Hook. Lots of fun restaurants and close to the ferry for a trip to St.John.

Amazing St Sheridan House

Beautiful property. Plenty of space for large families/groups. Views are spectacular. Nice dining options to walk to.

Some good and some not so good

We had an ok experience at this property. Detail on layout - the home is 3 levels. You enter on the top, which includes the master, kitchen, dining, and gathering space (not air-conditioned). The level down includes 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a lovely bar, and the pool. The lower level is a full apt that is accessible via outside stairs. We traveled with an elder so sharing in case helpful for others.What went well:The view was exceptional. Pictures don't do it justice; it was our favorite part of the stay, with views on all levels. Paper products were plentiful. Many appliances on all three levels. Multiple refrigerators, cooktops, dishwashers, etc. The pool (when clean) was great.Opportunities:We did not receive a walk-through so we had to figure things out on our own. Pool was not very clean upon arrival, and the skimmer had a large hole in it. It took a few days for this to be completely addressed. There was an odor in the kitchen for multiple days from the sink drain that we brought up to property mgmt but was not addressed. There were mosquitoes indoors (none outside), especially on the mid-level. The water stopped working on day 6 of 7 (which was addressed VERY rapidly by property mgmt sending a plumber to switch the cistern, which also seemed to address the odor). The plumber also noticed a stove burner emitting gas in the off position and addressed it. We would consider it again for the view, but some updates would make it amazing.

Perfect for Girls Trip

A group of 7 ladies stayed here for a long weekend. The location was perfect for driving and walking to the onsite restaurants and Margaritaville.

Family Graduation Trip

We had two families stay at the house. The pictures accurately depicted the house and beautiful view. It was everything we hoped it would be. The location was convenient to beaches, restaurants, and the ferry to St. John’s. We would take this same trip again.

A truly unique property with million dollar views!

“St. Sheridan Island”, aka “Hexagon Palace”, certainly lives up to its name. Its mountaintop situation provides magnificent views of several verdant islands, including St. John in the distance. The enormous pool and deck provided plenty of room for our party of ten to sun, relax and gather. The tri-level dwelling offers a variety of private spaces, including a huge and spectacular hexagonal living room with a soaring pyramidal ceiling. The author can cite only two drawbacks for consideration. Firstly, the roads on St. Thomas are narrow, twisting and unlit at night. Those factors, coupled with driving on the left side of the road, can be dangerous and disorienting for the uninitiated. Secondly, the property itself is virtually devoid of shade, both inside and outside. This includes the pool and deck, which can become very uncomfortable for extended periods of time.

Sheridan Island - BEAUTIFUL

The house was amazing and gave us room for all 12 people. The views were breathtaking! The pool and bar area was our go to place to hang out and have a great time. We were not really able to walk to the beach because of the steep hills, but the drive was like 5 minutes away.

Fantastic Home

We have rented many homes over the years and this house is a standout. Great layout, beautiful pool and plenty of deck space. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. We will most definitely be back.

Family stay

This home was great for our family trip. We had 7 people including 2 children under 6 and two adults over 75 and were very pleased with the home. There were plenty of places to be together but we were also able to have privacy if needed. The home came with a large amount of items already provided including plenty of paper products, cleaning supplies, cooking supplies/spices, towel, and pool/beach toys. Our host, Justin, was a great communicator and made the process very easy.

Great Views & Private Pool

We stayed here for a family vacation and the house worked out great. Plenty of room throughout the house and a great bar/kitchen area that looked out to the pool. You are 10 minutes from Red Hook and a couple of minutes to Coki Beach. This is a gated resort with security at the entrance/exit 24/7. Overall, it was a five star review but one thing to know is that air conditioning is only in the bedrooms. At times throughout the day it got warm in the common areas but was manageable. Keep in mind that every bedroom has it's own A/C unit and keeps the rooms very cold. There is also a fantastic breeze off the water and plenty of windows/doors to slide open in the common areas which helps. Being in the Virgin Islands I would prefer to have the sliding doors open enjoying the breeze anyway, so it didn't bother us very much. The views and private pool make this a must rent property for your next trip!

My family had the most wonderful stay at St. Sheridan! The location, alone, makes this the perfect place to stay on the island. The home is larger than you expect and the view… far more amazing than any pictures could possibly convey! This home has everything you need and Justin is a very attentive host. Stay here. Worth every penny!

Just got home from from the most incredible vacation I’ve ever had. My wife and I decided to celebrate our 50th anniversary and I wanted to take my sons and their beautiful families. Total nine including children. Everyone had their own space and privacy. House was like the pics, and the views were sensational! On the flight home spent most of the time looking at pics. No disappointments, Our host Justin was very responsive to our needs.

Beautiful House, Nice Location

I would definitely recommend this house for your stay in St. Thomas. Nice location, rooms are great. Walking distance to a beach bar, a couple beaches and a restaurant. The pool at the house is nice and big too!

Private Villa with Amenities

Amazing Villa, with so much privacy but all the benefits of a resort! Everything you need is within walking distance - beaches, casual dining, fancy dining, grocer, taxis. Easy (drivable) access to ferry and other island locations. Resort staff very helpful. The house is beautiful, clean, and worked great for our extended family (all adults). Three levels gave plenty of spaces to connect or to have some private space. The lower unit has a separate entry. Pool is good size, perfect for a refreshing swim! We couldn't ask for more! Thank you for the hospitality!

Great home for family groups, even better management company!

Even Better Than Pictured!

The setting is breathtaking; we spent so much time on the two comfortable decks of the property just overlooking the bay. The house was both beautiful and comfortable. My husband pointed out that the photos on VRBO, as gorgeous as they were, did not do justice to the real thing. The property was well-appointed, with plenty of plates, glasses, utensils, and serving vessels. Another reviewer was excited about the icemaker, and I thought that was an odd thing to mention. It is not. The icemaker is awesome. We had a few minor hiccups, but Justin was incredibly responsive and got us help right away. It was just a perfect spot for our family gathering.

Clean, incredible views and perfect location

We recently vacationed at Estate Smith Bay. Everything from the cleanliness of the house, provisions to the incredible views and cooling breeze were perfect. It’s layout if perfect for large groups and the pool was a big hit with kids. It is probably one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced ever. Big thank you to the hosts for letting us stay there.
