Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was good, the only thing that I would recommend is to describe better how to use the the chimney. When I tried to use it, the cabin filled with smoke and when it was turned off, a lot of cold air came in through there. I also think that the main bed should have its mattress changed.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time in Colorado and part of that was due to our unit. It was just as pictured. Everything was clean and we had plenty of room. There is a nice parking garage, but you need to be prepared for a lot of stairs.

Beautiful View

We've stayed at Cascade Village many times as we love the location but this was our first stay in this unit. The views from the balconies are great and overall the place met our needs for a long weekend with multigenerational family. The condo was as pictured - great view, some nice remodels, and some areas in need of updating. Property manager was very responsive to a small issue that came up.

Work trip

This place was very clean and quiet! It had everything we needed from toiletries to everything ypu need to cook. There is plenty of space with 3 beds and three bathrooms. There is a nice little hiking area next door with tons of wildlife!

We used the property as a home base to enjoy the areas points of interest. We did not use many of the amenities but lots were available. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We would stay again!!

Cascade Village is a perfect location for us being centrally located between Durango and Silverton. Unit 146 was perfect with 3 king size beds. It also was very well equipped with all the kitchen stuff we needed. I would highly recommend staying here, and look forward to coming back.

Reviewer Comments: It was a very nice, unit 146 was extremely clean, was beautifully decorated that let you know you were in Colorado mountains, and so perfect for my family staying for a wedding on property. The outside of the building needs a little repair but this unit was very nice and would recommend! Only bad thing was no onsite resturant, so after driving hours to get there we had to go back out to find a resturant, but luckily we found 'The Nugget' down the road and would recommend as great food and atmosphere!

Cascade Village Condo was great!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cascade Village. Just a short distance down the road from Purgatory ski slopes. There is a shuttle available to take you in the morning to the slopes and return you in the afternoon. Condo had lots of room for everyone to spread out. There was plenty of storage space, towels, extra linens and blankets, along with a washer/dryer in the condo. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals while we were there. Covered garage parking underneath the condo was a plus! Nicely decorated clubhouse center with pool table and games. Hot tub/indoor pool was nice and warm. Dry saunas- a nice option-were available in the pool area but we did not use them. We did use the wood burning fireplace constantly and appreciated the wood pile right outside our door. Brandon was a great host and very timely with all communication! We would definitely stay here again when we are back in the area!

Quiet, Peaceful, Perfect

We loved our stay at the condo! The views were gorgeous from both balconies! Watching the sun come up over the mountain tops with a hot cup of coffee in hand was the best way to start each morning! The accommodations were comfortable and made for a very relaxing time. We had one miscommunication while at the condo but Brandon was quick to respond and resolve the issue. He also followed up with us to ensure that we were comfortable and satisfied with the resolution. Thank you Brandon! We would recommend this condo for a couple or family! Whether you are up for an adventure to the many hiking trails, the river below the village, the waterfalls, and the lakes close by or just feel like hanging out at Cascade Village swimming, playing tennis or sitting on the balcony, you will not be disappointed!!!

Good Accommodations for 8 @ Good Price

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a comfortable stay in Unit 146, for the most part. The 3 bedroom beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for our party of 8 adults. The kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of linens and other supplies. All the rooms were neat and clean. The view was lovely, and the location was convenient to Durango. Be sure to stock up on groceries or plan to eat in Durango, as there is not much in the way of food in between.Some of the furnishings are a bit dated, but that did not lessen our enjoyment of the space. The description lists two pull-out sofa beds. – There is only one and it is very uncomfortable. We had to pile every spare blanket and sheet on the mattress to make it anywhere near bearable. During our stay, both the indoor community pool and hot tub were ice cold, so unusable to us (or to anyone else we saw that tried to use them). We did enjoy the outdoor hot tub.Communication from the Property Manager, Brandon, was timely, friendly, and sufficient.Overall, a very good stay that we would choose again if we find ourselves in the area.

Wonderful Condos

Our stay was very wonderful. The condo was clean and well stocked with cooking and drinking supplies. We were pleased with the views and seeing deer on property. My family and I felt like we were at home staying in one of your Units. We will definitely return to Cascade Resort for another vacation stay in the future.

We were out of dishwasher soap and it was brought up the next morning as requested. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much every pan and accessory you could want. Parking is super easy under the unit with stairs up to the unit. 2 mile drive to Purgatory. Would certainly stay here again! Thanks.

Great place with awesome views!!

Our stay exceeded our expectations. With a full kitchen, we prepared several meals and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Recently remodeled bathroom with custom shower was a plus. Waking up, and going to bed, with the beautiful mountain view was icing on the cake!! Close enough to Purgatory resort, we drove ourselves for skiing, but the lodge offered a shuttle service. Highly recommend this place and owner if you are wanting to stay in this area!!

One of our favorite locations.

This property was spacious and affordable. Provides starter toiletries if you forget to bring your bathroom products. A loveseat to replace the two single person chairs in the living area would be the cherry on top. We would definitely stay here again.

A Great Home Away from Home!

Excellent responsiveness: Brandon was helpful, friendly, and accessible. Beds were comfortable. Jetted tub was wonderful after a day on the slopes. Plenty of supplies - kitchen well equipped, but stove burners were a little finicky (would suddenly get very hot). Our teenagers thought this was the best vacation rental yet. We will return!!
