We want to say a special thank you to our host who went above and beyond to make our stay great. What a phenomenal ocean view. There were nice walking trails. We enjoyed the visits of the deer and watching the boats coming and going in and out of the harbour. The Chalet was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this place. We hope to return for a longer stay.

This was an outstanding place to stay. Impeccably clean, extremely comfortable furnishings and a well stocked, easy to use kitchen helped us feel right at home. But the highlight was the natural beauty- the amazing sunrises and sunsets, the morning visits from the deer and the beautiful kept trails that allowed for walks to fully enjoy the scenery. We loved every minute here.

We loved this property and will stay again if we return to the area. It's 10 minutes from the ferryport and was easy to find with the directions from the host. The views can't be beat, furniture and beds are very comfortable, great communication with the host and a very clean, cozy place. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

We came to explore the different areas of Nova Scotia for a week and we booked this great house because we needed a one night stay after getting off the ferry and a one night stay to catch the ferry on our return trip. This house is about 10 minutes from the ferry in a great location with great views and sits on a nice hill with no close neighbors. It's close enough to Yarmouth that a trip into restaurants and stores is easy. The house is very clean, beds are great, furniture is comfortable and the views are amazing. Geoff is very friendly, easy to communicate with and stopped by for a short visit to make sure everything was what we expected. The only downside is that we didn't book more nights here! We will be back if we return to Nova Scotia!

Geoff's accommodation is a dream and we enjoyed every minute of it. The house is bigger than the pictures suggest and offers everything for an unforgettable holiday. Geoff is a wonderful host and we were delighted to have met him in person. Hopefully this will not be our last time at Kelleys Cove.

Perfect Spot on the Top of The Bay :)

Stepped into a room of fresh of tulips outstanding home located only minutes from downtown Yarmouth and still offers quiet privacy as if miles from Yarmouth. This home offered the most relaxing of views. You can sit and watch the boats come in to the bay from the Atlantic all day and into the evening whether you're sipping tea on the porch or lounging in the recliner in the living room. The pictures don't do this home justice as the rooms are much larger than the pictures imply. There are walking trails around the property that provide scenic stops at the water's edge, picnic stops with ocean views, and fisherman waving spots. The property's trails offer varied destinations of invigorating scenic morning exercise whether strolling or running. The kitchen is spacious with dinnerware and cutlery set for six. The kitchen offers bare minimum cookware but enough to make a good breakfast, lunch or dinner. You would not be disappointed with your stay. Already planning a return

Beautiful cottage, good facilities, great ocean view and close to Yarmouth. (6-7km) Enjoyed seeing all of the deer as well.

The Grand Finale

This was our last stop on a tour starting in PEI, moving to the Annapolis Valley region and culminating in Yarmouth to take the CAT ferry back to the States. We couldn't believe the 180-plus degree view of the ocean and lighthouse beyond. When we visited the light, we could spot this property on the other side of the harbor, making us appreciate the location even more. The deer on the property was an added bonus The house was actually larger than we thought. The rooms looked smaller in the photographs. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The owner was super nice and helpful. If we are lucky enough to return to this area, we will definitely return to this spot. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was really beautiful! We enjoyed staying here and the trails that surrounded the cabin. Highly recommend staying here.

Nothing short of AMAZING!!!!

Wow....where do I begin! The Chalet by the Sea home was exceptional, the view in every room was stunning! Spotless, well supplied, comfortable beds and living room furniture, adirondack chairs on the porch overlooking the water....a great way to start your morning with a cup of coffee and the peaceful view (the Cape Forchu Lighthouse directly across the water!!) We unfortunately had only a couple days there, but we made the most of it! Instead of hanging around town all day, we stopped for a take-out dinner (haddock of course) and brought it back, just so we could enjoy the surroundings! Tere was a path mowed all around the property all the way to the edge of the rocks...absolutely beautiful! Geoff could not have been more welcoming! Exceptional place to stay! Next time we will stay longer!!

Gorgeous view!

We loved the chalet - so pretty and well appointed! And sitting on the veranda, looking out on the amazing view was such a treat! We also loved the location and the ability to go for an excellent hike around the area. Our stay was much too short - we would definitely come back for a longer stay next time! We might suggest putting up a bigger sign indicating the turn to the chalet as we missed it at first (but found it on the second try! :)) Thanks again for everything!
