Marcus is a host who truly cares about his guests. He sent us a message before our arrival followed by another message a few days later to check if everything was okay. The house is beautiful and full of little details that make all the difference. We really enjoyed our stay.

Sibling Get together

With one sister visiting from Australia, it was great to have a lovely venue where we could be together, share stories, laugh and prepare some great meals! It was great being near the Windermere Resort and golf club. Thank you Marcus for providing us with a lovely home.

Mid-week getaway at The Manor

A lovely property in quaint Windermere Village. Marcus was an excellent host who provided lots of helpful details about the manor and surroundings. We loved the hiking recommendations and spent many happy hours playing pool.

Long weekend in Muskokas

The property was just as described, with all the amenities we needed. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The front porch was a lovely place for afternoon drinks, with a view of deer on the golf course. The spa was a fun added benefit!

Property is well maintained, close to winderemere house hotel & winderemere park/marina at 4 minute walk.House is well sized, and as listing suggests it suitable for 6 adults and upto 2 kids for a comfortable stay.1 king size bed comes with ensuite bathroom (large room) , 2 queen size beds (decent size)and 1 double bed room (smallest of all rooms).Kitchen has all the utilities and well stocked.Pool room is great place to hangout and they have enough games like chess, monopoly ,puzzles and few more in TV room.Also they had netflix and amazon prime alongwith premium youtube.They have an amazing wood sauna for making the stay memorable.They had great patio outside with fall view colours on trees.And srive to and around property was great itself.Definitely recommend it to families.(It is bit far from huntsville and bracebridge, so stock before you reach the property)

Well located to access all that Muskoka offers. Great biking and hiking. The house is well setup for fun and enjoyable evenings on the front deck. Very responsive host and a wonderful property.

Great location

Marcus the owner was very thorough on check in and check out information. He also sent information about the area and places to visit which was very helpful. The house itself is quite old, but we really enjoyed the backyard and the beach down the road. We saw many dear in the backyard which my kids loved.

Family retreat

Great spot right in the village with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the pool table and darts. Very clean and Marcus checked in to make sure all was ok. Great property.

Week away

We thoroughly enjoyed our week away at this lovely home. Marcus reached out to us via phone and text on the day of our arrival to ensure our checkin went smoothly. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very close to the beach. We enjoyed the large fire pit and the proximity to several local hiking trails. We will definitely be back!
