Come to enjoy, relax and recharge at a charming waterfront Muskoka getaway. The space is an all day sun filled southern exposure and be surrounded by nature. The ideal private family property is great for fishing, ice fishing, water sports, hockey on the lake, and exploring. Connected to Gloucester Pool Lake, with kayak and 5 person pedal boat. Boat launch and docks available for your boat. Trampoline, fire pit & 3 storey playground set is all yours.

This space is newly renovated and comfortably sleeps 12. This only includes the ground level of the home, the upstairs is vacant, so you are not sharing the space with anyone. Don't miss out on an opportunity to enjoy the short summer we have in Ontario. The space is a charming 1000 sqft light filled 3 bedroom & 1 bathroom, only 1.5 hour drive from Toronto. Propane BBQ, well equipped kitchen with microwave and coffee maker. Portable crib, playpen and high chair can be provided by request.

Our stay was amazing. We had a really great time. The accommodations are a perfect mix of modern comforts, and a quiet remote setting right on the water. Lots of stuff for kids to do, inside and out.Access to the lake but tucked away and quiet so no boat traffic. Kayak and paddle boat makes for a fun way to explore the area.Host is very accommodating, friendly, and puts effort into making sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay.I’d recommend this spot to pretty much anyone,

Booked the place 1 1/2 months before our stay. Contacted the host via email, text and phone call 3days prior for our check in information and not responding. Called VRBO customer service to ff up with the host and still not responding up to the day before our stay. The host responded few hours before our travel only to find out that there’s problem with the place and cancelled our reservation. It’s very stressful coz we need to look for a last minute booking so our vacation will not be ruined since everyone booked off. Last minute booking is more expensive and since it’s summer time most of the cottages are booked.

Perfect waterfront property

The cottage was cute! Although the green couch could use replacing. The hosts were amazing!Kitchen needs measuring cups and spoons but overall it was fantastic! We would definitely go back.

Great stay. Great host. Be sure to bring your own supplies though because the gas station and convenience stores have a huge markup. Would definitely go back again.

Definitely Recommending to my friends

We had an amazing weekend here. The place was nice and clean and the host was very kind. The kids had a blast with all the toys and games available. I would definitely recommend to my friends. It was my first VRBO booking so naturally I was pretty anxious at first not hearing from them, but then once the check in information was provided, everything was nice and easy. Wonderful place to stay and an amazing host.

Wonderful Stay at a Welcoming Cottage

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. It was beautiful, filled with games for the kids, and offered canoeing on the lake. Jesse is very kind, welcoming and hospitable and let us stay longer than planned. We loved the peaceful, relaxing environment and cooking lunch over an open fire. Definitely recommended.

Downstairs Oasis

Just want everyone to know this is a basement suite! But it is very large. No one stayed above us during our stay. The owner was super easy to communicate with and contact. Lots of room. Tons of games and things to do if you bring children. Definitely a great stay for summer as well!!! Would definitely come back for a summer stay on the water. 9/10 experience

Summer family time

Had a wonderful time during our stay! The property had all the amenities we could need. Perfect place to gather with family and enjoy it together. The kids had an amazing time and having the play structure, pool, and trampoline were so fun! Enjoyed days and evenings on the deck, and hanging out by the fire at night. The water access with the kayak and pedal boat were also great to have. A great trip and would definitely return!!

Family Getaway July 17 - 20

We had a wonderful time at Rockcliffe Cottage. Jesse was very accomodating and provided everything we needed for our stay. We didnt need to go anywhere as there were plenty to do onsite. My 4 yr old daughter was really looking forward to the 3 level play structure and was surprised to see a large trampoline beside it! She didnt want to leave the place. Our teens also had a great time around the campfire, pool and there was a hot tub available for us to use. The beds/mattresses in all 3 rooms were comfortable considering majority of the adults had bad backs lol. Wifi had good strong signal. We definitely recommend this place, looking forward to staying again next Summer ‘24 :)

Family Thanksgiving getaway

Fall breeze and Autumn leaves. Beautiful property. We had a great time! Enjoyed the canoe, kayak and pedal boat. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and organized, it had everything we needed to make family meals. Pet friendly. Highly recommended, thanks Jesse.

September Getaway

Our group had a wonderful time here. The home was super clean and the kitchen was stocked will all essentials. The kids were entertained by the awesome play structure and the pool. The teens loved the wifi access and Netflix. The adults had a great time by the fire pit and in the pedal boat. Lucked out with great weather but it would still be fun in cooler temperatures.

Wonderful place to stay for the family

The property is quite spacious. It is clean and well organized. The rooms are well designated. The surrounding is quiet and pleasant. We enjoyed our peaceful walks in the morning and special family bonding at night. Jesse is super attentive and answers queries almost immediately. Great stay. Thank you Jesse!!!

Incredible, would absolutely stay again!

The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and thorough with getting us comfortable & cozy in their space. The cottage had everything you needed whether that be a night in, cooking indoors & outdoors, relaxing by the pool and exploring the lakes via water. The cottage was incredibly clean with fresh sheets & towels and everything was quite accessible. The hosts were super quick with communication and always helpful with all of our needs. A wonderful place to relax!

Quiet relaxing stay

The property has a pool off the deck which was clean and thoroughly enjoyed. The beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh and seemed to be new. We made use of the canoe and kayak and both were in great condition. We enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty Outdoor furniture so you can eat outside on the deck and fire pit had enough seating for 10.
