Our stay at Villa Mimba was outstanding from the reservation process to the pre arrival communication with Vanessa, or host, to the amazing staff who were attentive to our every need. We had staff arrange for our tour transportation around the island which worked out great. We also had the staff arrange for a dinner prepared in the Villa kitchen for us and it was amazing! Also they arranged for a massage for us also at the Villa. The facilities at the Villa were outstanding from the bedrooms to the pool to the kitchen. We had such a great stay here. The only thing to be aware of is that to get to some of the recommended restaurants it is not practical to walk (as we thought before we arrived). But once we learned how to use the local equivalent of Uber, getting around to restaurants was so easy and inexpensive so it was not an issue as far as the location of the Villa. I would highly recommend this wonderful place to stay in Sanur, Bali.

Perfect for Work & Play

We stayed at Villa Mimba in Sanur and it was perfect for what we were looking for. Three of us were working during the days and there were lots of private and soundproofed work spaces where we were uninterrupted but also not getting in the way of those on actual holiday! The Villa is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated and the lovely staff came in to clean every day and bring shopping if you need. Arie cooked us a delicious meal one night. There was an amazing cafe right around the corner which came in really handy for coffees and juices plus lots of delicious restaurants nearby. Bonus was the gym down the road which was better equipped than our gym at home. Would highly recommend.

Perfect retreat

Had a week’s stay with my family and this was a perfect place to relax and recharge after a busy 2 weeks touring Japan. Could not fault anything and such a friendly team too, with a warm welcome late in the evening to great recommendations for places to eat and spa. Villa Mimba is like an oasis of calm yet only a short taxi ride away from beach and restaurants. Definitely on the list for a return visit. Thanks to all the team for making our stay memorable.

Heaven

Stepping through the entrance into Villa Mimba is like finding you have arrived in heaven! This is such a gorgeous spot. Perfect for couples or families with plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing, or come together when you want to. The bedrooms are huge, with comfortable king size beds and lovely linen. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan, air con and an inside ensuite/bathroom leading out to its own private outdoor tropical shower. The kitchen/living/dining space is beautifully and very comfortably appointed. The pool is a great size and stunning. Beautiful grounds. Awesome hosts. The only bad thing about Villa Mimba is leaving - you will want to cry. This is a very special place with a lovely vibe, in laid-back Sanur. If you can drag yourself away to venture out there are some great little places to eat not far away and even a shop that sells cold Bintang at the end of the driveway! We moved around Bali a bit on this trip and stayed in 6 different locations - a couple of other villas and 3 boutique hotels. All really good - but Villa Mimba was the best - by far. Yup - it’s heaven. PS best massage in Bali - organised by our hosts, she came to the Villa. Sooo good!

Such an amazing stay!

Wow! The pictures taken of this place on the website were stunning, but I couldn’t believe just how lovely the villa was when we arrived. The staff took amazing care of us and always kept the place looking great, they were so helpful 24/7. You can tell they care about the quality of service they are providing. I thought I’d miss my own bed travelling so much, but the quality of the mattress and pillows topped my own! I was tempted to spend most of my time in the villa because it made me feel like everything I needed was there. Our own private pool was my favourite part, as we got to cool off after enjoying all the beautiful things Bali had to offer. I’d recommend this villa to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay. I’ll be counting down the days until I’m back again, thank you cool bali villas !

We loved it here!

This was the perfect relaxing stay at the end of our stay in Bali after the hustle in Ubud and lots of touring around. This villa and the staff provided everything we needed. From the info mail where is the nearest supermarket and everything else we would need to know, to the friendly people who made everything possible we asked (fixing a flickering light bulb, organizing the on-the-spot delivery of a different motorbike after the first one broke). The kids loved the pool and the spacious rooms with the bathrooms were amazing. The TV wasn’t switched on once but would have been there if we wanted to have a movie night (the outside area was just too nice and enjoyable for us to sit inside so we did not use it). We will be back, this is my number one spot for Bali!!
