Leura Sublime Sunrise - Views, Firepit & Familes
Enjoy refreshing and crisp mountain air in this modern home with great amenities including firepit & fusbal table, and the best bit, the views from the back rooms and garden. Relax and rejuvenate yourself at the house and take a short 3 min walk to the MAGICAL Sublime Point to soak in the best 270* views including the 3 Sisters. Wake up to watch the sunrise over the kings tableland from the back garden and sunset from the front.
Long stays for more than 21 days welcome message for best rates.
The living areas are all oversized, there is so much space.
The lounge area has a new (July 2022) 7 seater L sofa so the whole family/group can relax together with space. Watch the 75" 4K TV with NETFLIX, Youtube etc or DVD (heaps of hit movies for all ages), play a game (variety of board games for kids and adults) and read a book, (they is a collection of novels, classic and modern at the house). The lounge/dining has 2 heaters, one of which is a reverse cycle air con unit that cools the area in summer. Both have views over the front garden, and the bush over the road.
The kitchen is modern with a fridge and electric cooktop with oven and plenty of bench space for preparation, along with another table and chairs. The kitchen leads out onto the protected patio overlooking the backyard. Here you can cook on the 4-burner bbq. If you fancy something sweet, toast marshmallows over the firepit (BYO firewood). Beyond the firepit, the lawn is massive and a great place to play with your family and finally at the back fence is a viewing platform with benches and a table to immerse yourself in the 270 views of the Jamison Valley, Kings Tableland and on good clear days views right down to the Southern Highlands.
All three bedrooms have queen beds, with ceiling fans and reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. In addition, all the beds have electric blankets.
The bathroom is oversize with a separate shower and bathtub, sink and toilet. There is another separate toilet next door.
Professionally serviced linen and towels, toiletries, tea, coffee and basic cooking supplies are all provided and free unlimited NBN-connected wi-fi, is available for guests
Self-check-in via key lockbox.
Guests have access to the entire house, garden and off street parking for up to 6 cars. There is one locked cupboard which has linen and supplies.
We respect our guests' peace and privacy. We live nearby and are always available to answer any questions or help make your stay more comfortable.
Quiet residential neighbourhood. Please be respectful of our neighbours, who are lovely and friendly and always appreciate a warm smile and a friendly hello.
There is limited public transport to Sublime Point Rd, therefore we highly recommend having a car whilst staying at the house to get the most out of your stay in the Blue Mountains. Leura Village Centre is 4 minute drive away (with Woolworth's supermarket) and there is always parking close to the centre even on busy weekends. Echo Point (The Three Sisters) are approximately 12 minutes away and Scenic World is a 13minute drive.
The closest bus stop (Route 695) is 2k's away (20minute walk).
There is a local taxi company (details in the house manual) and we don't have Uber in the upper mountains.
You can walk (25mins) to dinner at the Fairmont Hotel and dine at Embers (booking recommended)
- It the responsibility of guests please turn off lights, air conditioning/heating and fans when leaving the house, this helps us manage our energy bills and provide value to our guests
- Please leave dishes clean and dry.
- For any house-related issues e.g. lights not working etc please contact us at the earliest first
- Please handle the firepit with care and douse embers if any, we do not provide firewood and is available for purchase at nearby fuel stations
