Comfortable place in a lovely area

The development is quite nice, low density in a dense area. The beach is really perfect. The unit is a little worn but very comfortable.

Amazing rental in Wailea

You really get what you pay for at this property. It was a bit pricier than what we wanted to pay, but it was SO worth it. The location is incredible, the property is beautiful, you can see the ocean from the lanai, pools are great and never too busy. You can always find a chair to sunbathe, and you're only a few steps from a nice ocean beach that's never too busy. The location is right beside some nice shops, including a place to get booze and food, and right across from a golf course. Would 10/10 recommend this property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth time back to stay at Maui and at this property. Our visits in the past were with a different rental company and in different units. Our stay was wonderful. We did not pay for the daily service, but did receive a mid week delivery of fresh towels and sheets. Location was farther back from the water, but not an issue. Views were still outstanding and the unit was well maintained for the most part. Had one small issue with some of the drapes but not a show stopper. Would definitely return if I have the opportunity.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place should not rent to families. The property is 1000% family unfriendly. My kids wanted to toss a football on the grass—no. Play in the pool—no. It’s a great location but pretty upset we were not warned that we were staying in a place with so many rules. I have no problem with rules but then kids should just not be allowed on property!

Magical

Absolutely everything about our stay was ideal. After our initial deposit and right before a substantial 2nd payment was due for the condo, the Governor of Hawaii publicized that it wasn’t a good time to visit Hawaii due to the spread of Covid-19. While we didn’t want to cancel our trip, we didn’t want to lose a lot of money if we didn’t feel comfortable traveling. Wailea Rentals extended the time period to right before we were supposed to arrive for essentially free cancellation. Restrictions started to lift a couple of weeks before our trip and we decided to go. So thrilled we did. Check in at the gate was efficient when we arrived close to midnight. Our first morning was the beginning of the magic when the sun came up…..while our rental was pretty much the furthest from the beach, our view was beautiful. In fact, I think every building in Wailea Elua has an amazing view. The complex is perfectly designed. 406 is a really nice size and has everything we needed. It was a 5 min walk down to a beautiful beach with plenty of room, coral reefs, sea turtles, and fish. The grounds are beautifully kept. One of the groundskeepers spontaneously stopped and gave me some freshly cut tropical flowers on our walk back to the condo after our first day at the beach. The location of the complex made it easy to walk or drive anywhere. Loved having the shops of Wailea nearby. The people living in and visiting Wailea Elua we’re very friendly. We were sad to leave this slice of heaven. Hoping to return soon.

Great condo in a beautiful community with pool & beach access

We loved the location of this property. It is walking distance to many restaurants with great views of the beach. Short walk to beach & pool. We also had ocean view from condo porch. We had a greAt stay!!

Reviewer Comments: We spent almost 2 weeks here and had a good time despite the unusual circumstances (we were here in March 2020 during the Corona virus pandemic). Our kids really enjoyed both pools until they had to close due to the virus. But never mind - the amazing Ulua beach was only a short 5 minute walk through the property from our unit. The grounds of the property are lush and beautiful! The beach is great for swimming, snorkeling and just sitting. The Shops at Wailea are also a short walk away. You'll still need a car to get around Maui but this location offers a lot within walking distance. The unit itself was clean and in good condition. The kitchen faucet broke on us one day but management quickly replaced it with a brand new one. Word of warning - there are tiny sugar ants that get inside and if you leave anything sweet out on the counter they will be all over it within hours. Keep sliced fruit and open candy in the refrigerator and crumbs off the counter and you will be fine. The lanai is nice and big. We enjoyed the barbecue and enjoyed eating outside most nights. You can see the sunset from the lanai as the beach view faces west. Despite this unit being one of the furthest from the beach the view of the ocean is still great - we even saw whales blowing from our balcony. Oh - if you have kids I'll mention that this unit does include some good beach toys like buckets and shovels as well as boogie boards. That was a nice touch since we have 2 6 year olds and a toddler. There is TV with on-demand content which the kids used more the second week after attractions started shutting down due to the virus. However the cable TV service started having trouble that same week - perhaps due to over demand? Restaurants: well, before they closed we managed to eat out at a few. A couple of our favorites were Manoli's Pizza Company (a short walk) and Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman (a short drive.) Cheeseburger Grille and Tap Room at the shops is also good for kids and a short walk.

Great rental in a great location

Wonderful stay in Wailea Elua 406

Reviewer Comments: Initially I was hoping to be closer to the beach for our rental but as it turned out, there was a beautiful view from the lanai that we enjoyed early morning and during out time in the condo. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and bathrooms were well sized. The grounds of Elua Village are immaculate (we have stayed in the village before) and beautiful. The workout area is small but well equipped with free weights. The pool was quite warm (perhaps a bit too warm!) but clean and the beach area very enjoyable. The keys are left at the front gate so it was very easy when we arrived and the property management was very pleasant and helpful. Thanks for a fantastic place to enjoy!

The furniture and appliances are the same as when we stayed there 3-4 yrs. ago. The couch and all the furniture are looking a bit worn. The carpet also. The outdoor furniture is ancient but still holding together--its amazing. We noticed the noise from the main road behind the unit much more this time. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this beautiful resort but would probably not rent this unit again mainly because of the road noise. The pools, grounds and beach at Elua are great. We will be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived at Elua Village in a downpour. The gatekeeper was friendly and gave us the key.The maid was not quite finished cleaning so we waited on the porch. Everything was left clean for us. However there was not even salt and pepper in the kitchen. Had we know we would have brought our own. The apartment was just as advertised. It had a nice view of the ocean in the distance which we appreciated. The furnishings are somewhat dated but the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We had some of our meals in and all the pots and utensils were there to make meals. The pool was usually crowded with noisy children. M-F from 4pm-6pm it quieted down. On Sat. during that time it was noisy. Overall it was a nice place to stay. After making the reservation and the payment we had no further contact with the property management company. The porch lounge chairs would benefit from some cushions.
