This prestigious property offers a unique location only minutes walk from both Tindalls Beach or Matakatia Bay. Or an easy walk around the rocks to Manly beach.

With iddilic sea views over Tindalls Bay through to Orewa and opposite views over Matakatia Bay to the beautiful sea vista of Auckland city, the sky tower and Rangitoto volcanic island views.
The sunsets and night lights are breathtaking. This property provides all that's needed to captivate what's required to ensure a most enjoyable and memorable summer holiday.

The 4 well appointed designer bedrooms. including the Top 3rd storey huge amazing penthouse master bedroom with its California king bed and ensuite, incorporated a lounge and private 2 decks.
Chef's designer kitchen. Our on site, seperate caretaker is also an Italian chef who is available by mutual arrangement and cost to provide tantalising breakfasts and dinners.
Pablo, will surprise you with his many culinary talents for cooking, including home made fresh pasta and pizzas using mostly organic produce grown on the property. Even eggs supplied by our resident chickens.
The formal dinning room seating 9 for all to enjoy a comfortable sit down meal, having direct access to the outdoor deck for a more casual relaxed dining for those summer bbqs where you can cook or smoke your freshly caught fish, following a fun filled day down at the beach. Then its time to head to the whisky cigar lounge, sit on the Italian sofas enjoying a relaxing drink over a chat, soak in the ambience. listening to music, chill with a movie or 3.
Maybe then enjoy a soak in the King and Queen shared spa bath.

Just minutes walk from three outstanding beaches (complementary 2 kayaks available)
on the beautiful Whangaparaoa peninsula which is the home to 17 beaches.
Many established restaurants, cafes and bars within a few minutes drive. Or better still take a 10 minute walk.
a few minutes drive away is the incredible Shakespare regional park which offers great walks and stunning views captivating Aucklands Hauraki Gulf.
For something different only a few minutes drive away movie theatres, great restaurants and cafes.

The opportunity for pets is negotiable.

This fully gated property provided security and privacy to relax and enjoy this unique environment .

Beautiful apartment, just a walk away from the beach. Everything I could ever need was provided, including some freshly-laid eggs - such a lovely touch! Will definitely be staying here again.

Absolutely beautiful property and great location

We were super lucky to find last minute accomodation with Mel and Doug for NYE! Beautiful large property in coastal Auckland literally minutes walk from the beach and boat ramp. The decor and furniture touches, not to mention the lounge movie room, kids "princess room" etc. Plenty of deck to enjoy the sun and a BBQ, the kitchen was spacious for us to do all the cooking and prep we needed. Even had kayaks we didn't have a chance to use! The place was really well presented and overall very clean. Mel (and Jess) were both amazing hosts, super communicative and easy to reach if we needed at all. We highly enjoyed our stay and would easily recommend to family and small groups.

lovely location but poor cleanliness

There was a spa hose leakage on the checkin date and we had to postpone our stay. A couple of the drains don't work well, especially the one down the kicken's sink. We dined out on the second day cause dishwasher and sink not working. Cleanliness is another matter of concern.

Location sold it for us, great spot and very handy walk to the beautiful beaches. Mel is lovely and checked in to see if all was ok and provided some great tips (as well as leaving a bunch of lovely home grown bananas!). Let down was cleanliness.

wrong number listed on Bookabach- property not prepared

The number for the Manager is wrong on the website- once I phoned the Bookabach call center, the person answering the phone was not competent and could not understand what I needed. Asked the same question various times. We traveled far and came to greet a family member who is dying. We were already in distress and it took us quiet a while to gain access to the property. The manager also did not get the information that we were coming till a few hours before our arrival. Thus, #she was not home, #the flat was not cleaned and #no complimentary basics was present. # The kitchen and rest of the house was dusty and dirty- I cant fault her for this as she did not have adequate time to prepare. There was half eaten food in the fridge, and no salt /sugar/coffee. #The light in the main room did not work, #the wifi was off and the manager was not there to reset the modem, #the 2 nights we stayed, people on the top floor were playing music out loud and moving furniture. #The manager promised to get back to us re the Wifi more than once and it was only Saturday evening after texting again, that a man came over and apologized as they could not get anyone our to fix it ( appreciated the gesture). #The property was obviously in the mist of renovations (tiles in bathroom was not grouted, a piece of wood was just stuck over a hole in the roof of the bedroom door had a whole in it where a handle would be placed eventually? In general, I doubt if I will use bookabach again, this was quite a upsetting experience.

We were absolutely delighted with the location of the property to the function we attended and the friendliness and attentiveness of Mel. She was very welcoming and, had we not had other arrangements with family for the rest of our stay in Auckland, Leanne and I would've been more than happy to spend several more nights at Tindalls Beach. Next time we'll be sure to meet Sheba!

Delightful stay, great feel, very accommodating and friendly hosts, lots of extras all made our stay wonderful and very close to lovely beach. We'll be coming back! Thank you to our hosts for a lovely stay :) Highly recommended.
