What a sanctuary. This home is truly an oasis. You are welcomed into the home through an abundant garden alive with lustrous flowers, well established trees & and an almost fairy like magic, all while being nestled on the banks of Bakers Gully Creek.

The Poached Pear is 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with a space for everyone in the family or group to claim their own private nook. It may be the spacious outdoor garden, elevated deck with private areas on either side of the house, either of the 2 living spaces, 2 dining areas, by either of the 2 wood fires or the serenity of the relaxation room. Need I say more.

Each bedroom is fitted with a luxurious queen bed and ample wardrobe space to really settle in for those longer stays. No bedrooms have an ensuite which allows all guests to access any of the 3 spacious, modern bathrooms. Enjoy a quick rain shower or steep in the deep free-standing bath to rejuvenate after a hard day's fun, read a book or simply gaze out the large window directly into the private outdoor garden, the choice is yours.

The relaxation room is decked out with a chaise, floor to ceiling window and is the perfect place for a quiet read, a spot of yoga and ideal for a sneaky afternoon nap when no one's looking.
This property would be perfect for 4 couples or 2 small families as the layout really allows you to create 2 separate spaces if you choose. The fully equipped kitchen services the entire house and a second preparation area can be an alternative for your pre dinner nibbles and wine or separate dining space for the children. The kitchen is complete with all your mod cons so you can whip up home cooked meals for the nights you just want to stay in although with all the dining options around town you may not even bother.

The living areas are both fitted with their own TV, wood fires & reverse cycle and both comfortably seat 4 to 6 people. The home also has a fully equipped European laundry for those longer stays or to refresh your gear after harsh winter days up in the ski fields or out on the mountain bike track. There's also a second washing machine fitted outdoors for any overflow.

And for those Summer nights The Poached Pear has a 6-seater outdoor setting and gas BBQ to bask in the crisp Alpine evenings.
You are just over 1km to the centre of town and is a comfortable 15-minute stroll if you'd prefer to leave the car at home.
