Fully off the grid 43m2 Home, Solar energy Gas cooking and diesel heater, Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. One of a kind view Buetiful Harbour, Established in 2020 immaculate home with Queen bed master room also a Queen pullout Couch in Lounge, Double bed in 2nd room, kitchen bathroom toilet very large shower everything you need for your weekend away gorgeous outdoor area with 6x3 louvre pergola and blinds for privacy on new concrete installed Dec 2023 . Only Vodafone signal is strong at this location. Telecom is not good. WE DO NOT HAVE WIFI AVAILABLE AS IT'S NOT AVAILABLE IN THIS REMOTE LOCATION.

we supply linen and towels you will have to supply your own blankets and pillows.

The little 5x3 room to the side is not part of the bnb and is locked at all times.

Fabulous location across from the water. Sleeping configurations not quite as listed but there is a fold out sofa bed if you have kids who don’t want to sleep in a double together.Lovely spot!

The property was as described,very clean and presented well.Quite a way off the beaten track,wonderful beaches about 40 minutes in each direction.We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

New Holiday Spot

Very satisfied with our stay. Family that stayed with us also enjoyed themselves and said they had a good sleep. Just was not a long enough stay for us. Next time I will be bringing the kids along as I think they will love it here.

Cool little place

We stayed for 2 nights. The boat club at Te Waitere is only open fridays. We went along and found the burgers and locals awesome. Colin was great to deal with and nothing was a problem for him. Thanx again Colin.

From the moment I sourced this Bach to spend time in, Colin has been a fantastic host and his beautiful wife also… Their property is stunningly curated to cater for the best stay, and to make you feel totally at ease. The energy, wairua and awhi in this little Bach is showcased at the highest level. From the exterior finishings to the modern fit out with all the luxuries of a 5 star hotel, not only that their whenua is situated with captivating views and everything you could ever need to keep you busy, active… with just the right about or remote tranquility. This Bach is definitely a must do in Taharoa… You will not be disappointed at all… Don’t delay book your stay here and be immersed in the peace and serenity from this Devine space…

Was an awesome place to chill and get away from everything. Just a little disappointing with the “hot tub” being listed and not being there. The lack of internet should be better explained also. Otherwise perfect get away, awesome host.

Premium Location

We had a job out that way and booked the accommodation last minute yet Colin was extremely helpful and quick to allow us to stay at the property. My 2 workers could not rave about it more. Great peaceful location tidy and warm. Would love to look at booking a personal trip there sometime in the future. Thank you Colin for the great communication and being able to accommodate my guys last minute. Much appreciated. Highly recommend.

Off the grid, on the harbour

Our stay was short as it was business. If you have time and want to enjoy the fishing, shell fish collecting then this is the spot for you. The main road is close to house, but everyone waves as they pass. When I booked the location indicator advised me that it was 9ks from Kawhia, by boat. the drive was 45 minutes approximately 30 klm. Great for longer relaxation. Thanks for letting us check-in early
