Our stay was enjoyable, with plenty of space for nine people. Everything was clean and tidy. It would have been helpful if we’d had a contact phone number at least 2days. Before our arrival, because we had difficulty with emails failing, as people come from distances without a computer contact.

Great stay

Great stay. Nice house. Clean and tidy. 6 large bedrooms all with Queen beds and very comfortable. The couches in the lounge are very hard and not very comfy. there was a door handle slightly off, and a lamp that flickered. These were only small inconveniences and did not affect the overall stay.The location was great, quiet street, plenty of parking and easy access in.Would be happy to stay here again.

2 night Xmas stay

Fantastic stay at paradise hideaway. Great big house, plenty of room for us all (4 adults and 3 kids). Good kitchen, could do with a few more implements - cheese grater, sharp knives etc. great communication from the host, sorted a small problem we had with no fuss. Very happy. Will definitely stay again.

A dozen for Easter

A lovely area and a nice home. A mirror in the bedrooms would have helped as there were 12 of us and the only mirrors are in the bathrooms. Other wise a very good place to stay

Large, comfortable modern stay.

We had a family group of 8. Ages from 75 years to 9 years old. The house was perfect for our group. We had room to spread out so we were all comfortable. Room for the children to play upstairs away from the adults. More room downstairs in the lounge where we could comfortably relax and enjoy our stay.

Beautiful house provided with all amenities.

The house is located in a lovely street with new houses around, the house is very nice to stay even for long holiday can equip up to 14 people. Wifi is excellent. Just TV need to upgrade to smart one, so guests can use YouTube and own mob phone. Thank you

Spacious house. Close to The Redwoods

Big house with 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Clean and tidy. A separate shed at the back for our bikes and Laundry. Good parking for 4 cars. It suited our needs A couple of odd things1 bedroom you had to go through another to get to it. A bit odd for single guysThe lounge furniture was too hard and after mountain biking all day not comfortable at all.The big room where the garage was could be cold in winter as no heat pump there Communication was excellent with Jenny

Rotorua family time

We enjoyed our stay but were a little disappointed as we were expecting a ‘hot tub’ outside, instead we found an internal normal bath in the house. Perhaps a misunderstanding of the words ‘hot tub’ which to overseas visitors might mean something different. We were expecting an outside hot tub/spa we could enjoy as a family rather than a normal bath in the bathroom.

Good experience

Happy with the property, one bedroom is actually a converted garage space but it was ok. Another bedroom upstairs was actually what appears to be a lounge and has access to another bedroom so you can not lock that bedroom for privacy. Not a problem for us but could be for others. Overall it was a nice place

Very comfortable and spacious. We had a large family gathering and there was plenty of room for all of us. The place is very well equipped with everything you could need. There was a problem with the oven not getting hot. As soon as I alerted the owner to the problem they came round with an air fryer to tide us over. Great response, thanks you. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Yearly Cousin catch up

10 adult cousins all in our sixties that catch up once a year who all like to have their own rooms, this place certainly had that. We found the lounge area to be rather small for the amount of people the place sleeps. House rules we found to be a bit over the top with no noise after 9 pm if neighbors complained there was $100.00 fine per person, if we had known that before we booked this place we would of looked for somewhere else to stay, it's not that we party but when we all get together we can make some noise.

Weekend reunion for 6 professional males. Enjoyed the space, large bedrooms and general comfort of the house. Disappointing that heat pump in lounge didn’t work (good heating in other rooms) and TV / Satellite Dish also didn’t seem to work. Could have improved ammenities with a blue tooth speaker or audio equipment being available. Overall more than satisfactory and would recommend

Fantastic soace for a large group

Overall, this was a great find, and we enjoyed our stay.Pros: spacious, clean, well-equipped kitchen, safe neighborhood, and no longist of chores to complete before checkout. We enjoyed the huge sofas in yhe living room and having enough room in the kitchen and dining area to hang out. The Jack-and-Jill bathrooms were also a nice touch, making it easy for 7 people to share 2 baths. Cons: These are minor but worth mention. The listing said a washer and dryer were available but if they were, they were in one of the locked closets and were not available for our use. Not a tragedy, but we had hoped to do a load on this stay. Second, the door locks almost instantly behind you and entry is by keycard so someone had to stand at the door to keep it open as were were entering and exiting. The lock was equipped for a door code, which would have been more convenient.

Worked well for a group of 10 Adults

We loved Rotorua and this location was pretty convenient especially to biking in the redwood forest. It also wasn’t too far from Skyline. There were lots of beds and space for our group of 10 adults. I will say it was a bit different than I anticipated from the photos and there are a couple of slightly odd things. One of the bedrooms upstairs has to be accessed through another bedroom. Another one of the rooms is a converted garage. It looked pretty nice but some of the women thought it was odd there were so many doors. The washer and dryer are in a shed in the back. They worked well and were nice to have.
