This is a basic stayover place with location and spacious living area being the best aspect of our modified 1-bedroom apartment with single bathroom. Read description carefully and check out the photos closely as stays vary considerably on this site. If you are contemplating a hotel style accommodation do not book this listing.
Braddon central apartment. Walk to city cafes and restaurants for dinner, bus stop at the front or short walk to the tram stop.
Make your own tea and coffee in the tea room. Blankets and linen, towels available on demand. Swimming pool and BBQ area available in summer months.
For heater in winter or fan in summer add extra $12 per night per person for excess electricity, once you have paid the heating fee, you will then be issued with 1 heater or a fan, no feature bathtub included, just shower rose. For all Cooking use microwave oven or kettle inside.
keep place tidy day to day, take out rubbish regularly, strictly no cooking inside whether by byo stove or oven, if cooking inside occurred by means other than microwave oven, extra cleaning/restoration fee will be charged from $250 depending on cleaner's views. Oven is decommissioned not to be switched on under any circumstances. where written permission has been granted to cook on the balcony, any grease or oil residue left on surfaces will attract additional cleaning fee from $65.
wipe shower tiles and glass doors dry after use, turn on fridge at power point behind fridge, Foto ID scan required on check in, we do not wait at the unit for your arrival but will greet you at the foyer at check in hour. Please arrive strictly within check in time. Check in time is between 4pm and 8pm, do state what hour you will arrive or we can nominate a few times. self-check-in facility not available but you can self-check-out by leaving key in letter box and fob on the table. No shoes to be worn inside, owner's personal belonging may be on premises please respect. Key fob to remain in plastic case or replacement fee of $80 will be charged for loss or damage. Draw blinds open or close by cord and only when fully louvres are open. Abide by body corporate house rules which are posted on notice board in the foyer.
The unit is over 25 years old so take it easy when turning taps or handles or operating switches.
Hot water capacity is limited to one bath or two showers per day and will be switched on at check in then heated over 6 hours ready for shower. Beds and furnishings are indicative only and may vary on the day. The apartment contains storage rooms for owners periodical use, do not enter. Free wifi is available on Lonsdale street which is a few minutes walk or byo data packs for all internet requirements. No free wifi on premises.
Cleaning fee is for end of up to 7 days stay and not an end of lease spring clean,
For longer term over 7 days, guests are required to engage a commercial cleaner after every 7 days of stay and/or will be invoiced for cleaning after every 7 days of stay to cover heavy use areas such as shower and food preparation areas.
Reviews left without reading the full house rules above will cause economic loss to the owner and the guest may be charged loss of rent of up to 7 days stay.
